Financial analysis as a tool for strategic management of a construction company

The aim of the thesis is to propose a solution in the form of a strategic financial management model using financial analysis methods, to formulate recommendations and to develop a methodology for its implementation. The proposed model incorporates the methods of financial analysis and uses mathematical methods to determine the prediction of sales development, which are further used in the strategic management of the company. The proposed model contains 3 steps and the methodology for the process contains 18 steps, on the basis of which it can be applied and used in various construction enterprises. The proposed model is based on the examination of 30 construction companies during the years 2008–2020 and is then applied in a case study to one selected construction company.

This diploma thesis deals with impact of financial leverage on financial profitability, measured by ROA and ROE, and financial stability, measured by CAR and LIQ, in building societies. The impact will be examined by regressive analysis and for period between years 2006 to 2015 included pre-crise period, crise and post-crise period. Data will be extracted for building societies acting in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. The analysis will be executed for individual countries and results will be compared.

Diploma thesis is aimed at analysis of the new rules of banking regulation Basel III and their impact on the Czech banking sector. It describes the development of the rules issued by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, their structure and then compares their differences. The thesis also presents an analysis of expert studies and empirical research on Basel III and its potential impact on the bank-ing sector and economy. It also deals with the impact of new regulation require-ments on selected indicators of banking sector performance and selected banks. The last part of the thesis deals with an outline of possible future development of banking regulation with a focus on the Czech banking sector.

On the basis of expansive business strategy a financial plan is elaborated, and suitable financial resources for covering the additional need for capital are suggested.

This bachelor thesis is focused on financial benchmarking of KBJ VELKOOBCHODY s.r.o. The aim of this study is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and to compare the results within the same field and with the best companies in this branch as well as direct competitors. The purpose is to gain an overview of the financial health of the company and also the relevation of strengths and weaknesses through Benchmarking diagnostic system of financial indicators INFA. The theoretical part is focused on financial analysis, used for financial benchmarking, description of the methods and practices of financial benchmarking. The previously described practical part shows how these methods are applied to a particular company. The final section of this study is about evaluation of achieved results and it recommends strategic business decisions.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the financial benchmarking of the company MORIS Design s.r.o. The target is to examine financial situation of the company and to compare the company to the other enterprises in the sector in which it operates. To achieve this, author uses the financial analysis INFA. The first part of this paper is focused on the financial analysis as such in theory. The second part closely examines economic situation of the company MORIS Design s.r.o. and performs its financial benchmarking. Finally, in the third section, there is a conclusion of the financial situation of the company, its strengths and weaknesses and also suggestions that would help it to solve the problems found in the analysis.

The aim of this Bachelor´s Thesis is a complex elaboration of financial strategy in KASKO spol. s r.o. company in years 2011 - 2015. The Bachelor´s Thesis consist of two main parts. In the first part, the theoretical part, there are defined the general procedures and methods for evaluation of financial position of the company. The second part, the practical part, contains the analysis of absolute ratios and financial ratios, Du Pont analysis, comparison with a branch and bankruptcy and creditworthy model. The conclusion presents the summarization of the results of the whole thesis.
