Ceiling construction with prestressed girder
Skuhravý, František ; Klusáček, Ladislav (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis process design of floor structure, which consists continuous cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab with three spans. The slab is supported by post-tensioned flat beams. These are pin-supported by pillars on outer edges, inner supports are ensured by columns. Comparison of the options of prestressing reinforcement with and without bond precedes designing of the beam itself. Based on its results a suitable option is chosen and then applied on a whole structure.
Strengthening of roof girders in production hall
Wawreczka, Karel ; Strnad, Jiří (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is strengthening of girder roof construction in a production hall. The roof girders were designed 18 years ago in accordance with the Czech standards valid at that time. All the girders are now recalculated according to valid European norms. It is suggested to use prestressed cables guided along the girder construction. Because of the lack of space around the front of girders, it is designed to use prestressing from in the middle. In order to design the cable geometry and the biasing force, it was crucial to take into account shear resistance as well as constraining compressive stress in the concrete. Calculation of the effects of load is carried out by Scia Engineer 2015 computer software whereas Excel has been used for all the other calculations.
Life-time assessment of bridge based on nonlinear analysis and degradation modelling
Kucek, Martin ; Lehký, David (referee) ; Novák, Drahomír (advisor)
The aim of this work is to calculate the lifetime period of the bridge construction based on the nonlinear analysis and the degradation modelling. As a solution was the probabilistic nonlinear finite element analysis. The nonlinear numerical analysis is provided by the programme ATENA, developed by the Červenka Consulting. We have modeled one prefabricated bridge beam KA-73, which was overloaded by power effects until the structure was damaged. Observed limit states, limit state of the decompression, crack formation and limit state of the bearing were compared with characteristic material. It is possible to determine the maximum weighted capacity for the given construction based on discovered values.
