Analysis of payment systems in the Czech republic and Slovak republic

This thesis analyses the interbank payment systems in the Czech republic and Slovak republic. First chapter includes the definitions and basic characteristics of payment system and payment services. Both analysed countries are members of the European Union, next chapter so defines its payment systems and their legislation background, with the focus on TARGET2 system. Chapter 3 and 4 concentrate on characteristics of Czech and Slovak payment systems from different points of view. In Slovakia, there are two payment systems, large-value system TARGET2-SK and retail system SIPS. In Czech Republic operates only one payment system CERTIS for both types of transactions. The last and main part of thesis is devoted to detailed analysis of statistical data for these payment systems concerning the period from 2006 to 2011.

Public Official´s Remuneration

This work deals with the system of employee's remuneration in the public administration. At first it describes theoretically the historical development of the public administration at the area of the Czech republic up to the present. Then there is the salary's system described, its rules, the salary's creation process and its particular items. The analytic part, which is aimed to the main problems of this system as bureaucracy, corruption and connection of the career system, proceeds from this theoretical base. It also works with the public administration employee's opinion. There is the possible solution of given problems outlined at the end of this work.

The product comparison of the payment system of Komerční banka, a. s. and Česká spořitelna, a. s. in comparison with their parentel banks

The Bachelor work is focused on the product comparison of the payment system of banks institutions such as Komerční banka, a. s. and Česká spořitelna, a. s. and their parentel banks Société Générale and Erste Group. The theoretical part defines system of payment generally, its organization, describes the electronic payments and also the telecommunication network SWIFT. The following chapter deals with the bank legislation which is applied to products of payment systems. The next part (practical part) of this study is dedicated to comparing the banks accounts between Česká spořitelna, a. s. and Komerční banka, a. s. For every bank I chose two accounts, which I applied to the company South Bohemia Star, s. r. o. The aim is to find a bank account or a bank services package which would be the most convenient for a particular company and its needs. The company uses products which are: account management, a monthly paper statement, internet banking and items. But there are differences because every bank has an alternate arrangement of banks accounts. In the second part of the practical work bank accounts of Société Générale and Erste Group are compared. Unfortunately it is difficult to compare Komerční banka, a. s. and Česká spořitelna, a. s. with their parent banks, because this can be affected by currency diferences - the Czech Crown and the Euro.

Consumer Behaviour on the Financial Market

The outcome of this thesis are the weights of each parameter of payment methods that are used to interpret consumer recommendations and conclusions. The research revealed that consumers mostly used payment method for purchases from online stores is delivery, although it does not seem like a good choice. Instead of delivery, I may recommend credit card payment, which has only one weakness and that is security. This weakness can be put down by purchasing only at trusted sellers. It is also meant to be the fastest way of payment. Also payment through a text message is convenient and easy. The results of my thesis can be used by consumers to help orient themeselves between the payment systems used for online store purchases, as well as the operators themselves.

Interbank payment system in the Czech Republic

The subject of this thesis is the essence of the functioning of the interbank payment system in the Czech Republic at present and expected changes after the adoption of the single currency euro. The aim is to bring the activity of a single payment system CERTIS, its principles and basic properties. Also the thesis is devoted to the SWIFT information network, which is an important part of the interbank payment system. The second part focuses on the European payment system TARGET, EURO1, STEP1, STEP2 and the SEPA project, whose main objective is the integration of cash and cashless payments. The last chapter is an expression of anticipated changes in monetary transactions between banks after adoption of the euro in the CR.

Payment systems for micropayments

Work is focused on the analysis of the current payment system for micropayments. This the payment systems operating through the Internet or whether the mobile phone. The first part focuses on the definition of payments, since payments are based on an understanding of payment systems. Following is mentioned law on payments and analyze changes that occurred with this law in 2009. Further work is focused on principles, analysis, description, types of accounts, advantages and disadvantages mikroplatebních systems. Are mentioned payment systems already extinct.

Mezibankovní platební styk v České republice

Předmětem práce je analýza platebních systémů, cílem je pak zejména podání uceleného obrazu o činnosti Zúčtovacího centra České národní banky. Dále se práce zaměřuje na tendence provázející sledovanou oblast zejména v souvislosti se vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie, tedy na Evropské platební systémy a zhodnocení připravenosti České republiky na přistoupení do těchto struktur.
