A set of fairy tales written by pre-school children

The main focus of this Bachelorsthesis is to create the fairy tale set which is written by children of preschool age. The next target is to find out if children are affected by TV, if they can devise the fairy tale story by themselves and how important the story is for this group of children. The theoretical part is focused on chapters about first reading literacy development in children and the importance of the fairy tales for preschoolers. We also talk about RVP - Framework Education Programe here. The practical part is focused on fairy tales analisys which are created by the children, for example finding similarities in fairy tales already known by them. Those targets helped me to answer the questions above. Parents were also given anonymus survey, where I included the questions about reading literacy.The results are described and commented in the practical part.
The literal story use for the pre-reading literacy in kindergarten

This bachelor thesis elaborates on the topic of reading literacy focusing on the activities able to support the pre-reading skills? development of preschool children. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the term reading literacy and it argues the importance of reading during the preschool period. Furthermore, it closely describes the methods of work with literal text leading to the fulfillment of expected results in relation to the framework educational programme. The practical part of the thesis brings the working approaches and proposals of activities regarding pre-reading prevention. The integrated thematical units rising out of the literary stories were used while working with children. Followingly, they were considered according to the evaluation plan.
Literature for children in the kindergarten

The bachelor thesis Literature for Children in Kindergarten is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part it explains terms as literacy, pre-reading literacy and reading literacy. We can find chapters about the influence of pre-reading literacy there and why it is important to develop it. It also offers a chapter about the excitement of children´s interest in books. In the practical part it evaluates the utilization of children´s books in the kindergartens based on the interviews with the teachers. It offers a list of the most used literature for children in the kindergartens, the most assessed books for working with children and methods that are used by the teachers for working with the book. Further it focuses on facilities of libraries in kindergartens according to the prepared list of literature for children.

This diploma thesis is aimed at finding out the current situation of so called pre-reading and explore methods used for development of so called pre-reading literacy. The thesis is divided in two parts theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part refers to characterizing of preschool age, problems of reading literacy (with focusing on so called pre-reading literacy), factors impacting children'spre-reader's interest and especially methods usable for abilities and skillsdevelopment of preschool children in area of literary education. The practical part includes empirical survey (qualitative research), realized at chosen kindergartens. The research is supported by working sheets that are verified in practice.
Role of the family on reading skills

This bachelor's work looks into the family's influence in reader's proficiency development in youngers chool-agechildren. Basic terms such as: reader's literacy, reader's skills and reading are specified in the theoretical part. Furthemore pre-reader's and reader's literacy is delimited along with its five components. This work also introduces the koncept of family from the point of generational changes, achal problems and attitudes towards reading. Several implemented projects in the area of fading promotion in the Czech republic are outlined. Based on the results of mixed quantative and qualitative research of the family's influence in the reader's abilities development in regard to the environment where the child is growing up. Special attention is paid to the relation between the child'supbringing in the permanent care of one parent, alternating care of both parents and reader's proficiency development.
The Improving of Children's Literacy in Kindergartens and School Clubs

This bachelor thesis focuses on pre-reader´s literacy of children placed in nursery schools and after school care. The theoretical part clarifies basic terms related to the topic. It describes the reader´s development in the family, nursery school, library and it focuses on the factors that are influencing the pre-reader´s literacy. Furthermore the thesis records thematic range of the texts from the journal Informatorium 3-8 and Rodina a škola issued between 2010 and 2016. The practical part focuses on the findings of particular data related to the development of reading skills and reader´s literacy on the elementary and nursery school in Černovice. This part introduces the results of research which was conducted in the nursery school and after school care. The peer observation complements the results from the nursery school.
Reading Beads - a Project to Support Prereading Literacy of Preschool and Early Primary School Children

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to promotion of pre-reading literacy. This thesis describes current projects focused on development ofreading and pre-reading literacy. The thesis highlights the importance and impact of family and nursery school on development of pre- reading literacy and presents various ways of working with literature, as well as listeners' preferences of preschool children. The didactic part of this thesis refers to "Beads of reading" project, which supports both pre-school and young school-age children pre-reading and reading literacy. Czech deaf children and motivation to reading

Bachelor thesis: Czech Deaf children and motivation to reading Klára Bohuslávková Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to study czech hearing impaired children's reading and their motivation to reading. In theoretic part it sums up knowledge about motivation to reading in general, after that it describes need to motivation to reading at children with hearing impairment. The thesis analyzes main motivation factor for reading - the task of parents, pedagogues and cooperation of peers. Then in theoretic part it describes existing projects, which focus on supporting children's reading in Czech republic, and also projects focused on reading of children with hearing impairment. In practical part a project, which was realized in the area of Municipal Library of Prague and which targeted children with hearing impairment, is described. Following that, an interview, which was held with children during and after the project and with their pedagogues - tutors and teacher, is analyzed. At the close the theoretical knowledge from professional literature and knowledge gained during the project are related to each other.
