Genetic Algorithms - Multi-core CPU Implementation
Studnička, Vladimír ; Kuba, Martin (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
his diploma thesis deals with creating the most universal library of genetic algorithms in C++, as much as possible, implemented with the certain number of universal operators, and then with testing created library on some examples. Library must support multi-core processors, implementation will be done over OpenMP. The library will be tested on three examples in all. The first two examples are mathematical functions, that are used just for genetic algorithms testing. Last problem for test is N-Queens problem. Finally we will use genetic algorithms to try find solution for Eternity II puzzle, there is declared a 2 million bounty for full solution.
Cycle route between Havířov and Hrabová
Kocurek, Ondřej ; Novák, Martin (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a cycle route between the town of Havířov and Hrabová, a district in the city of Ostrava. Current cycle routes in this area are routed as part of the roads II/478 and II/ 473 along which a heavy traffic volume flows. Therefore, the usage of these routes is unsuitable. This arrangement also diminishes the recreational function of the cycle routes. The newly suggested route guarantees a safer connection between Havířov and Hrabová, where it joins an existing cycle rout, no.6064. The cycle path follows the course of the Lučina river where a ring road for pedestrians, cyclists and inline skaters is thereby created. Furthermore it will use purpose-built and local roads with a low volume of traffic. The plan is divided into four parts and each is assessed separately. The cycle rout is designed in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations.
Implementation of an evolutionary expert system
Bukáček, Jan ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on working up evolutionals and genetics algorithms issues Especially for multiobjective algorithms VEGA, SPEA and NSGA – II. Thereinafter one of FrameWork working with genetics algorithms namely WWW NIMBUS. From this mentioned algorithms was selected VEGA algorithm for implementation in JAVA to preselected problem. Thereby problem is choice thick columns of profile according to predetermined criteria. Selected algorithm works on division of population into several groups and each group evaluates the resulting fitness function. Here is a sample implementation of this algorithm. Furthermore there is a example of working with FrameWork. In the next section are compared the results of generated progam with results that were obtained by FrameWork WWW NIMBUS. As for VEGA, and the Nimbus there are shown different results. The VEGA is presented also the development of individual fitness functions. Also, there are shown graphs, that can be obtained from NIMBUS. At the end of work is introduced the comparation of the results ane propose possible improvements.
Hybridizace mezi jelenem evropským a jelenem sikou v oblasti Doupovských hor
Kahajová, Barbora
The sika deer was introduced to the Czech Republic for the first time at the end of the 19th century, after the Second World War it also escaped into the wild. The population numbers of free-living sika deer populations are still increasing and the species causes serious ecological problems. The sika deer is also a major threat to the native European red deer, with which it crossbreeds. This thesis deals with the hybridization between the European red deer and the sika deer. The main goal was to determine the proportion of hybrid individuals between these two species in the area of the Doupovské hory Mountains, where they are in contact. During the hunting season 2020/21, 101 samples of these two species were taken in the study area. I genotyped them using 22 microsatellite loci. Previously genotyped deer samples from this area from the period 2008/09–2016/17 as well as comparative samples of sika deer and red deer from the surrounding areas and samples of the subspecies Dybowski's sika deer from enclosures were added to the evaluated dataset. Using mitochondrial DNA, the samples were divided into individual species or sika deer subspecies. A total of 560 samples were then evaluated using the Bayesian clustering analysis in the program STRUCTURE, of which 270 originated in the Doupovské hory Mountains. Based on the results, 29 hybrids were identified in the dataset, 20 in enclosures, 2 in comparative samples of sika deer and 7 in the study area Doupovské hory Mts. Five of them were detected in the season 2008/09, in the season 2020/21 analyzed by me it was only one individual. The results did not show that the proportion of hybrids in the Doupovské hory Mts has increased significantly, but they confirmed that the cross-breeding of the both species sporadicly occurs there.
Hybridisation of cyprinid fishes in the Czech Republic: genetic and morphometric analysis of the subfamily Leuciscinae
Kaufman, Vít ; Musilová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Choleva, Lukáš (referee)
Hybridization is a process when two interspecific individuals mate and spawn. When backcrossing it often goes hand in hand with admixing unrelated genome into the genome of a species. Nowadays it is well established that hybridization is not as uncommon as it was believed. Especially in vertebrates fish are quite common in such phenomena. In Leuciscids, the family of order Cypriniformes is relatively frequent. It is a rife family in the European freshwater systems. Factors that contribute to such frequent hybridization are extraneous fertilization, sympatric occurrence, competition for spawning grounds, and other ecophysiological traits. It was known since the second half of 20th century that this is an ongoing phenomenon in many species of this family. Previous research was focused mainly on morphological traits. The relative pinnacle of such research was based on allozymic analysis. The goal of our project was to evaluate the level of hybridization in the main water bodies of the Czech Republic with the main focus on the detection of involved hybrid species, the level of such hybridization, and the phenotypic characterization of hybrid individuals. For that reason, it was sampled over 400 specimens giving a dataset of 381 individuals. Tissue samples were sampled for DNA isolation and each of the...
Research of Algorithms for Improvement of Rainfall Calculation Based on Crossing of Microwave Links
Vomočil, Radek ; Mikulášek, Michal (referee) ; Bubniak, Milan (advisor)
Even in modern times, the exact rainfall calculation is an area containing a number of challenges. Although it may seem that the combined technologies for rainfall estimation are sufficiently accurate, in recent years there have been opportunities to further complement and refine the rainfall estimation through so-called opportunistic methods. This work deals with the creation of a new algorithm for the distribution of rainfall intensity within the framework of rainfall measurement through a network of microwave links. The theoretical part of the work deals with the possible ways in which the algorithm can be created and in what ways the calculation of rainfall can be approached. The practical part first deals with the creation of an algorithm for the linear distribution of rainfall intensity in 2D space along the route of the microwave link, based on the input parameter of the interval length. This is followed by the creation and implementation of an algorithm for the distribution of rainfall intensity based on the crossing of microwave links.

Study cross I/20 Nová Hospoda
Gregor, Jan ; Janda, Michal (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the intersection of roads I/20 and II/122. The current intersection is a level crossing and is located in the South Bohemian Region. Three variants of the level crossing with other possible modifications are newly proposed. One variant was elaborated in more detail. The reason for the new proposal is the current increased risk of an accident and the reduced capacity of the current state. Another reason is the strong left turn on the I/20 road in the direction of České Budějovice – Netolice.
