Dendrochronologické datování a stavebněhistorické hodnocení krovu zámku v Miloticích (okres Hodonín)
Foltýn, Pavel
The subject of this thesis is the construction and historic evaluation of the age of the wooden truss structure of the State Chateau Milotice in district Hodonín using dendrochronological analysis. There are used procedures of the dendrochronological dating that is procedure of sampling the samples, their subsequent processing and dating. The work also includes construction and historical description of the building, to which have been used available documents form the Moravian Museum in Brno. Fir trees used for construction of truss were originated from the end of year 1721 or from the start of year 1722. From pine trunk was dated just one sample, which met the requirements of period after 1893. Beams of oak trunks were originated from two periods after year 1813 and after year 1943. Probably, fir elements of truss are original and the rest came from of following repairs. Dendrochronologically data analysis helped to specify the previously estimated history of the building, which has a big meaning in the planned reconstruction of the truss structure of the chateau.
Dendrochronologické datování a stavebně-historické hodnocení krovu kostela svatého Václava v Lukovanech (okres Brno-venkov)
Brázda, Ondřej
The object of this thesis is the dendrochronological analysis determinating the age of the wooden roof of the Roman Catholic church of St. Wenceslas in the village Lukovany in the district Brno - venkov. The thesis describes the standard dendrochronological process from sampling, its modifications and measuring up to the actual dating. In the text there can be found also constructional-historical development of the building. The chronological order of this development was created based on the literature review, field work and questionnaires. The trees used for truss were cut after 1810, the trees used for the bell tower after 1837. The dendrochronological dating and the analysis of the anatomical structure of wood helped to validate and to narrow some historical periods of the church. The results of this work can help managers and possible investors in the managing of the building, considered repairs and reconstructions.
Dendrochronologické datování a stavebně historické hodnocení krovu budovy LDF MENDELU v Brně
Stefek, Ondřej
On inquiry of LDF MENDELU in Brno the age of wooden roof truss of building B of LDF MENDELU in Cerne Pole was determined. At the same time the age of wooden roof truss of building A in the university s areal was determined. Moreover, a compilation architectural and historical development of the same constructions was done. Because of the dendrochronological analysis, it is possible to date wood of archaeological researches, historical buildings or roof truss. In this bachelor thesis, the standard dendrochronological process is described; from obtaining initial samples, through samples treatment, determining of the type of wooden elements using anatomical structure, measurements of samples until final dating. The basis of historical development was formed with the aid of historical sources and articles, where it was possible to find the beginning of foundation of Mendel university in Cerna Pole and early history of buildings A and B, when building A served as an institute for blind people. Results which were found shows that condition of both constructions is good. Afterwards, the results were compared with available literature. Despite the fact, that both of buildings were damaged during The Second World War, roof truss preserved.
Pevnost lepeného spoje spárovky ze starého dřeva
Gerža, Pavel
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of suitable adhesive for gluing of joints from old, degraded, spruce and fir wood for the production of visible front sur-faces of wooden furniture. Two types of adhesives are compared. Polyvinyl acetate glue and hare glue. Mechanical properties are evaluated on the bonded joints. There are compared mechanical properties of old spruce and fir glued wood with fresh spruce and fir glued wood.
Přirozená obnova jedle bělokoré v převodu na výběrný les na Školním lesním podniku Masarykův les Křtiny
Opravil, Lukáš
The thesis demonstrates the progress and life of the natural regeneration of fir, spruce and beech in selected stands in the conversion to selection forest in Klepačov at TFE Masaryk Forest Křtiny. In the form of inventory circles there was further evaluated stand structure of interest stands and the health condition of fir on the plots. On the plots were assessed height, number and age of the seedlings. To assessing the impact of wild animals on the natural regeneration there were used existing fences. To evaluate the effect of light conditions on the regeneration, the plots were placed to represent the different lighting conditions. Based on the statistically evaluated data then was found a negative impact of game growing up main species of natural regeneration. For seedling fir and spruce is best suited perfect canopy. For seedlings beech is best suited temporarily interrupted canopy. It was also suggested practical recommendations designed to promote growing up fir regeneration in the area.
Properties of wood of different ages considering heat exposition
Helanová, Ester ; Hradil,, Petr (referee) ; Vaněrek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis discusses the experimental verification of sorption and mechanical properties of fir wood from the 17th to 21th century. The wood of different ages is thermally treated with temperature of 60°C, 120°C and 180°C for a 17 hours. The effect of thermal treatment of wood on the isothermal sorption characteristics and compressive strength in fiber direction is evaluated.
Dendrochronologické datování a stavebně historické hodnocení krovu sv. Valentína v Bravanticích
Bužek, Stanislav
The aim of this bachelor thesis was, by using the dendrochronological analysis, to date the wood truss roof structure of the main nave and presbytery of the church of St. Valentine in the village Bravantice, township Nový Jičín. This seminar thesis describes a standard procedure from dendrochronological sampling anatomical identification, their modifications, measuring up to the actual dating. The truss above the nave is from the year 1662-1663; roof over the presbytery is younger, the final year of the 1834-1835. On the whole truss structure of the church was used fir wood. Dates detected dendrochronological analyses were compared with historical data derived from the available historical sources and Internet resources. The construction and historical development of the monument remained only a very small number of literary sources. The results of the analysis Dendrochronological truss structure gave us the exact date of construction, and partially uncover and add still unclear historical and architectural development of the church.
Dendrochronologické datování a stavebněhistorické hodnocení krovu kostela sv. Jana Křtitele v Hlučíně
Rataj, Tomáš
The aim of this thesis was to conduct a survey and documentation of construction and the historical development of Object church. John the Baptist in Hlučín, district Opava. The available resources and literature to chart the history of truss structure and determine its typology. Anatomically determine tree species in different parts of the roof structure of the church and using dendrochronological analysis to determine the age of the samples. The work deals with a methodical procedure from dendrochronological sampling, treatment and subsequent measurement until after dating results with comparison using statistical methods within specified Czech and Moravian standard chronologies of tree species. The work is complemented by the resources available on the historical development of building construction. As a result, based on microscopic slides of the samples was identified fir wood. There have been a historical summary of the aspects related to the construction and definition of the age of the individual parts of the roof structure. The truss nave was dated to 1890, the age of the truss presbytery was designed in 1732. Truss above the nave was defined as longitudinally coupled rafter construction Hambálková, stagnant faeces. Historical evaluation of extended documentation package, which is now the object of the church we can leave to future generations. Dating age truss church confirmed the historical development of the subject and contributed to the overall mapping of the now almost restored monument.
