Analýza očekávaných změn množství vzdušných imisí nad územím České republiky v souvislosti s COVID-19
Kotrle, Viktor
This work analyses changes in annual and monthly concentrations for 2019 and 2020 in the Czech Republic. The focus is mainly on the search for changes related to government regulations during the Covid-19 epidemic and thus the overall change in human activity. The analysis is designed in two parts, namely a statistical analysis part and a spatial analysis part over the immission model. Measurements from the stationary stations of the CHMI were used as input data.
THE PHOTOCATALYTIC ABATEMENT OF NOX IMISSIONS USING COMMERCIAL FUNCTIONAL COATING WITH POROUS MORPHOLOGY
Žouželka, Radek
Titanium dioxide is the most important photocatalysts used for purifying applications. It was the purpose of this study to investigate the photocatalytic activity of commercial Protectam FN (R) containing TiO2 nanoparticles towards NO and NO2. Experiments on concrete as a support for photocatalyst were carried out in two types of reactors with laminar and turbulent flow under ´´real world setting´´ conditions of temperature, relative humidity, irradiation and pollutant concentrations. The results showed that photocatalytic process significantly reduced both nitrogen oxides in the air. The decrease in the total concentration of nitrogen oxides on contact with the photocatalytic surface reached 20-50 %, i.e. at a concentration of 100 ppb the decrease in NO and NO2 was 20-50 ppb. The nitrogen oxides were oxidized up to their highest oxidation state, nitric acid ( or nitrates) and undesirable nitrous acid was not formed at all. The experimental study conducted showed that the photocatalytic oxidation on the surface of the photocatalytic Protectam FN (R) coating is an effective method for the removal of nitrogen oxides from contaminated air.
Analysis dependence of the weight concentration of flying dust in the village in relation on the influence of road cleaning.
POSPÍCHAL, Miroslav
The aim of this thesis was to provide a measuring of the weight concentration of flying dust in road traffic in dependence of traffic environment and also the acquirement of objective information about the real influence of roadcleaning. The measuring took place on a regular street in the centre of České Budějovice. At first the dust concentration was measured before the proces of cleaning. Next the street was cleaned by a compact sweepmachine and a second measuring took place. The results displayed, that the roadcleaning has a negative influence on the dust concentration in the air. The weight concentration of the flying dust rose about 50% to PM10= 0,077 mg.m-3. People going along the street were exposed to an excessive encumbarance, which could have in a longtime affect bad inflence on their health.
