Spatio-temporal processing of data in the GIS environment in the example of České Budějovice.
KULHÁNKOVÁ, Nikola
This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on cartographic methods of visualisation spatio-temporal data in the city České Budějovice. The data needed for following map creation were processed by diploma thesis of Lenka Křiklánová and Barbora Doláková, which explored spatial mobility of selected population groups (students, women on maternity leave and postproductive population) in České Budějovice. The purpose of research of this Bachelor´s thesis was to create an appropriate method of cartographic representation of mobility and to recommend suitable procedure for collecting data of spatial mobility of the population. The first part of the thesis is concentrated on explaining the spatio-temporal concepts and defining the object and subject of research time-space geography. The second section is practical it creates cartographic outputs spatial mobility of the population studied, assessment of these works together with an optimized draft for data collection.
Everyday spatial mobility of population in the region Kouřim: Analysis of selected processes and geographic conditionalities
TOMÍČEK, Filip
This bachelor thesis is focused on the everyday spatial mobility of population in POU Kouřim region. Survey was conducted by questionnaire method in chosen households over the POU Kouřim region. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces us terms mobility and time-geography. We are introduced with issues of transformation of transport in Czech Republic after year 1989, with basic information about POU Kouřim region and with methodological bases. Results of survey were used to comparison between men's and women's transport behavior. Another researched issue was usage of means of transport in POU Kouřim area. Results of both these issues were compared with other available researches. In conclusion of thesis there are summarized results of focused issues.
Everyday spatial mobility of population in the town Český Krumlov: patterns of individual mobility and their study by means of modern geo-information technologies
ROZKOŠNÝ, Filip
This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on analysis of everyday spatial mobility in the town Český Krumlov. The data needed for research were obtained by questionnaire and partly from GPS loggers. The purpose of research of this Bachelor´s thesis was to find out in what proportion are used the means of transport from the angle of the number of trips, distance covered and the time spent in them. Quite big difference of modal split was registered between average working days and Saturday. During Saturday car was used more times than walking whereas during the working days walking was preferred more than car. From the results it was obvious that the longest distance was travelled in car and the longest time was spent while walking. Another aim of this research was to find out the various purposes of trips according to their number, distance travelled and time spent on them. Differences between trips according to their purpose were registered between an average working day and Saturday. The average working days were characterised by periodically repetitive trips as trips to work and school whereas shopping trips, visit trips and free time trips were typical for Saturday. The longest distance from the total distance was travelled to work and school during the working days and to visit trips on Saturday. The longest time during the working days was spent on trips to work and school. During Saturday the longest time was spent on free time trips. All the results were compared to similar studies. This Bachelor´s thesis includes an accuracy comparison of data of everyday spatial mobility of members of one household. Those compared data were collected by GPS loggers and a questionnaire that was filled by the respondents.
Everyday spatial mobility of population in the region Strakonice: Patterns of individual mobility and their study by means of modern geoinformation technologies
POJSL, Lukáš
The aim of this Bachelor thesis was to investigate the individual spatial mobility of people in the town Strakonice. In the research were used two methods of collecting information. The first one was a questionnaire survey and as an additional element here served a record of GPS devices. The main goal was the analysis of the results, detection of internal processes and subsequent comparison with analogous Czech and foreign studies. Starting point for the analysis was the data on the main indicators of spatial mobility which are time, distance and number of trips. Comparing within the purpose of the trip, it was observed that regular trips consisting of commuting to work and school contribute to the overall mobility of approximately 40 %. With regard to modal split according to the day of the week, the largest differences were observed when comparing weekdays and weekends. During the monitored Mondays and Wednesdays significantly prevailed walking while on Saturday, the ratio turned and the dominant position gained car. In terms of the main indicators of spatial mobility walking exceeded all other means of transport. Different results were recorded in the distance category where a car took a leadership role and significantly suppressed all other modes of transport. Focusing only on the time spent during mobility then from the collected data for the region Strakonice, the results are that on average residents move 44 minutes a day. Data collected form GPS loggers were processed and presented using suitable software. The visualization displayed detailed mobility of selected respondents and allowed an alternative way of working with mobility.
Everyday spatial mobility of population in the region Moravský krumlov: Analysis of selected processes and geographic conditionalities
TKANÝ, Petr
The aim of this thesis was to examine the daily mobility of people in the region Moravský Krumlov. This investigation was conducted through a questionnaire survey among households in the administrative region of Moravský Krumlov. Based on the results were then analysed selected processes regarding everyday mobility and their geographical conditionalities. Ending results were then analysed and compared with available studies con-ducted in the Czech Republic and abroad. The population of the region was classified into groups by gender, economic activity, etc. and then a specific elements of their mobility were analysed. From the results of the survey is apparent that women undertake more routes than man, however these routes are not that long as those made by men. Further, the majority of routes were conducted on distances not exceeding two kilometres. People travel most frequently for work and school purposes, however other activities play a certain role, especially on the weekends. The importance of public transport in periodically conducted routes was confirmed as a part of the results and spatial mobility of the population in the region was further examined. Based on the results of spatial mobility graphs were created illustrating the intensity of mobility during the day.
Daily Spatial Mobility of the Residents of Bystrice nad Pernstejnem Region: the Analysis of Selected Processes and Their Geographical Determinants
VÍCHA, Lukáš
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of everyday spatial mobility in Bystrice nad Perstejnem, to the analysis of selected processes and their geographical determinants. It is focused on the analysis of the data on the spatial mobility of local residents by means of household saving in characteristically different areas. The main purpose of this research is to identify main forms, objectives, reasons and ways of population mobility and searching for their geographical determinants.
Everyday spatial mobility of population in the region Písek: Analysis of selected processes and their geography conditionalities
JINDROVÁ, Veronika
The aim of this thesis was to investigate the daily movement of people in the region Písek. This investigation was conducted through a questionnaire survey among households in the administrative region of Písek. Based on the results were then analyzed selected processes and their geographical conditionalities and then compared with the available studies in the Czech Republic and abroad. The purpose of this research is to observe differences among the population classified into groups, determine the purpose of routes, frequency, distance, time, and to identify the spatial mobility. It was found that women range different than men and for other purposes, frequently, but with a shorter time and distance and most walk through. For each age group are also noticeable differences. The largest representation in the sample were men aged 36 - 49 years and have done most current paths in order to/from work, with the greatest time and distance with the use of a car. At least the other hand, moving persons aged 65 years and over who had represented numerically smallest, most traveling to/from shopping and services and also by car. In terms of economic status, with the majority working employees, but most roads have gone self-employed persons with the longest time and distance with the use of a car. The smallest spatial mobility had retired persons who consistently as people aged 65 and over have done minimum paths and it corresponded with the time and distance that also benefited mainly car. Based on comparison of results with other studies also differed spatial mobility and other characteristics of the population by the area in which they live, but also between different regions appear identical or similar features everyday movements.

ZEZULOVÁ, Martina
The thesis is divided into 3 main parts. The first part is focused on theoretical introduction of time geography. It is also focused on development, concepts and applications. Theoretical part follows up the concept of suburbanization. In the second, methodical part, is explained the concept of the survey, selection of respondents and implementation of the questionnaire survey.
