JIRKA, František
Dissertation work "Attitudes of pupils of secondary vocational schools towards evaluation at classes", is focusing on standpoint of pupils of secondary vocational schools towards evaluation at classes. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Within the theoretical part a process of evaluation is characterized, we are further focusing on the concept of the class evaluation, its functions, forms and methods that are used. Attention is also paid to the current problem - the use of classification and verbal evaluation. We characterize both ways and also mention what are their strengths, and on the contrary, why are they unsuitable for evaluation. The practical part consists of a research that tries to investigate what are the views of students of secondary schools on the role of evaluation in the educational process. As a research method was chosen a questionnaire because it is considered to be objective, rational, it can be easily evaluated and foremost provides a good opportunity for comparison. Students' responses are processed in the diagrams that are duly commented. Based on the information it is possible to deduce how the students reflect on the current system of evaluation and whether it appears functional.
