Long-term monitoring of emotional stability in everyday life compared to extended isolation

This bachelor's thesis deals with the theme of emotional stability in daily life compared with its long-term isolation. It is based on a comparative Czech study of the international research MARS 500, which simulated a long interplanetary flight to Mars over 17 months. The thesis is divided into two thematic units: the theoretical part and the research. The theoretical part describes the area of emotional traits and states, emotional regulation, and its strategy. Furthermore, it examines emotional stability, stress, and resilience. It also describes the emotional ties to our interpersonal relationships and the inspiring environment in which we find ourselves. Besides, it identifies the specifics of the groups in the extreme conditions. The research represents a qualitative analysis of the emotional profiles of the participants ? a crew consisting of six people ? in isolation and a control group ? consisting of 12 Czech men ? who lived a normal everyday life. The work includes visualization and a data evaluation questionnaire EMO (Emotions), which has been reported from all participants of the experiment for 17 months.
Dynamics of individual motivation under a long-term separation

Presented work deals with the topic of long-term separation and the significant impact on motivational structure, emotion regulation and psychic resilience of the individual. The work is devided into three thematic units. The theoretical part presents the basic of motivation as a construction of motivational structure, emotion regulation, resilience and coherence of those phenomena. Finally, refers to the specific extreme conditions of the isolated group. The experimental part provides the preview of previous isolation experiments and their importance in the psychological research world. The last, empirical part evaluates the dates obtained from The Institute of Biomedical problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences and interprets the results of the methods with close relation of the triangle phenomena of individual motivation ? emotion regulation ? resilience. The work involves the evaluation of Personal Concern Inventory, Questionnaire of emotion and PIL (Laura King).
