Usability of stillage from ethanol production

This work solves the use of stillage from ethanol production. Also solves processing into material DDGS and then solves the material and energy balance. This material and energy balance was calculated for 7070 kg of stillage per hour. The final energy requirements of the process were based on the amount of stillage produced to obtain 1 m3 of ethanol. The results of this work offer an insight to the problems of processing stillage. Thanks to conversion for 1 m3 of produced ethanol, results is also offerring the possibility of fast conversion of an approximate energy needed for devices of other capacities.
Design of industrial drying

This thesis deals with the constructional design of the industry dryer meant for the production of the current and voltage transformers of the KPB Intra s.r.o. company. The basic theory of the drying and the heat balance of the dryer are processed in this thesis, and also the brief overview of the constructional solutions of the industry dryers and their usage. In detail it focuses on the constructional possibilities of the chosen dryer for the given application. Essential parts of the thesis are the constructional calculations for the power determination of the ventilator, heating units, condensational units, the exchanger, engine with transmission and the calculations for the mechanism dimensioning of the shelf adjusting, clamping case and the springs for the chain stretching. Last but not least it consists of the technical-economical evaluation of the suggested solution and its risk analysis. Drawing documentation, 3D model and the animation of its moving components form also the part of this thesis.
Heat and mass balance of up-to-date laundry premise

This diploma thesis is solving a problem of energy intensity evaluation of professional laundry process. It presents computational model of tumble dryer and calender. There are described factors in calender model, which influence energy intensity of drying process. Verification of the model has been done according to measured data from real professional laundry premise.

This thesis deals with the research of the current offer of household washing machines and driers in the first part. On the basis of this survey, there was made clear list of appliances currently available from all price ranges, including their specifications. The main core of the thesis is an enumeration along with description of modern technologies and features which are essential for the marketing of individual producers. The second part deals in detail with selected technologies of household laundry care, and assesses their usefulness in the professional field.
