Historical Overwiev of F1 Chassis and Engines Evolution

This thesis is focused on the overwiev of main periods in the area of race car construction development. In the first chapter, main attention is dedicated to Formula One cars, attending races since 1950. In spite of this, there is briefly noted the technological development before FIA Formula One Championship. Next chapter is dealing with technical restrictions and regulations restraining construction of Formula One car. Data are situated in the table, ascending sequenced according to the year. Next part refers to the actual Fia Formula One Championship season 2008. There is abstract of technical regulations and the list of actual Formula One teams, their cars and drivers. There is some pages acting with one of the Formula One team. In the last chapter some of technological experiments are presented.

History of rafting in the czech lands with a hint of its foundation in the world

The goal of this Bachelor thesis is to create a comprehensive review of the historical develpoment of rafting in the Czech Republic, whose rise continually follows the development in the world which is paid attention to as well. The sport thrived here in the sixties of the previous century and nowadays our national representation belongs to the top in the category of sport rafting. This work also embraces the mapping of the international success of our rafters and the first competitions and organizations in the Czech Republic. The source of information was predominantly obtained from archives because of the fact that the literature on this topic is virtually non-existant.

The history of representation of Czechoslovakia and the Czech republic in volleyball

This thesis charts the history of representation of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic in volleyball. In terms of time is subject of the thesis focuses on the period of 40 ? 60 years, 70 ? 80 years further period and on the history of Czech volleyball representation in the period after 1990 ? 2011. The thesis in terms of subject is focus on development and results of history men´s volleyball national team of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. There were a significant performance changes across a period that significantly reflect the final results of a volleyball team. Sources for this thesis were used from the archives of the South Bohemian Reasearch Library in České Budějovice ? from historical monthly periodicals, appearing in the Czechoslovak and Czech Republic.

The History of table tennis in the area of the Czech Republic in The time period of 1920 - 1945

This work is about the table tennis beginning and the development in the Czech lands from 1920 to 1945. There is a mention about the world table tennis. The beginning of the racing era, the table tennis association establishment, the Czech Players success and racing and clubs development are described in this work. It is focusing on table tennis in Moravia, Prague, Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Bohemia. It presents sportsmen in the thirties (XX. century). It meets us with life of sportsmen, their conditions and especially financial conditions and their approach to sport.
