Sledování transferu genetické informace z krmiva u vykrmovaných kuřat
Matoušková, Michaela
This study deals with detection of consumed plant DNA in the bodies of experimental broilers. For 27days, COBB 500 broilers were fed by fodder containing Konini wheat variety with purple pericarp or common Bohemia wheat variety. For the next 15 days, the broilers were switched to monodiet -- the fodder contained only Konini or Bohemia wheat variety. At the end of the experiment, samples of broiler blodd and excrement were taken and DNA was extracted from these samples. The extracted DNA was used as a template for polymerase chain reaction analysis (PCR). The sought-after PCR products were 558 bp and 174 bp long. Wheat DNA fragments were not detected in any of the 12 blood samples. The PCR analysis using DNA isolated from excrement samples could not be accomplished. The likely reason is that the DNA samples contain complex plant polysaccharides that inhibit PCR. The results of this study indicate that the wheat DNA was digested in the digestive system and that fragments of DNA longer that the tested 174 bp did not penetrate through epithelial cells of the digestive system to broiler blood.
Analysi breeding condition in broiler chickens taking into account the microclimatic condition in controlled mode.
SVOBODA, Zdeněk
This thesis is focused on the assessment of production of broiler chickens te. hybrids ROSS and COBB 308 500, in connection with the microclimate conditions in the period from 2011 to 2014. The survey provides calculation of average lengths of broiler fattening, live weight of broiler chickens at the end of the batch, consumption of complete feed mixture for 1 kg of live weight gain, the effectiveness index of fattening, mortality to reproductive breeding age on. The juxtaposition of these zootechnical parameters will be obtained from the company Tagrea s.r.o. with operations in Čekanice near Tabor.
Zkrmování pšenice Citrus u brojlerů
Karásek, Filip
This thesis deals with the finding of suitability for inclusion in the newly bred varieties of wheat Citrus with is , in higher lutein content in grain to the ration for fattening broilers. Influence on feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio of broiler were observed. In the trial with male chickens Ross 308 were fed diet with 30 % and 60 % wheat as compared with control wheat. Effect of wheat Citrus to fattened broilers was not significant, but the relevance of the performance parameters influence wheat Citrus (P <0.05) was observed on the antioxidant activity using the method of free radicals (FR).
Účinnost nízkoproteinových krmných směsí s doplňkem limitujících aminokyselin u brojlerů
Kupčíková, Lucie
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of four crude protein (CP) levels supplemented with limiting amino acids in the broiler diets on broilers growth, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and carcass quality. Hybrid ROSS 308, 2640 chickens, were divided into four groups and they fed grower diets with 22; 20,8; 19,5 and 18% of crude protein. The experiment period lasted from 10 to 30 days of age. Starter and finisher diets were the same for all groups. Grower diets were optimized in digestible limiting amino acids (lysine, methionine, leucine, izoleucine, threonine, tryptofan a valine). The lowest growth intensity was observed in the broilers fed 18% CP (P<0.05) on the other side the highest weight was found in the group fed 19,5% CP (P<0.05). The best FCR was found at feeding 19,5% CP and the worst at feeding 18% CP (P<0.05). The carcass yield and breast yield was the highest in group fed 19,5% CP (P<0.05). The highest proportion of abdominal fat was found in group fed 18% CP (P<0.05). On the basis of the results we can recommend the level 19,5% crude protein in grower diets supplemented by limiting amino acids without negative effect on FCR and broiler growth.
Effect of transport stress on the mortality of broilers
SEDLÁČKOVÁ, Renata
The aim of the thesis is to acquaint the reader with the reasons for mortality of broilers during their transport to the slaughterhouse. Materials for your own research (from 2012) were obtained from the State Veterinary Administration of a company Vodňanská drůbež s. r. o., the argest supplier of poultry meat in the Czech Republic. The second chapter deals with legislation relating to animals in general, but also legislation that governs the protection primarily for meat production. Welfare of broilers, therefore, their comfort, and handling is dealt with in the third chapter. It describes picking halls, catching chickens, chicken waste, transport of poultry for slaughter, chickens and unloading conditions to be met by the authorized person when handling poultry. The fourth chapter describes the factors affecting the welfare of broiler chickens during fattening. These factors include the type of litter, microclimate - thermoregulation poultry, lighting, and health status of broilers. Because the work deals with the mortality of broilers during transport, the fifth chapter is devoted to this issue. There are analyzed transport requirements, the effect of high and low temperature for transporting poultry. Furthermore, means of transport and the obligation of carriers during transport to the slaughterhouse, whether it's planning a trip or taking care of animals during transport. The sixth chapter deals with the custom dissertation: In 2012, it was the slaughterhouses (company Vodňanská drůbež s. r. o.) moved from 116 breeders 30,231,410 pieces of broilers at slaughter, of which 136,616 units during transport died at a mean of 0.455 %. Most deaths were at a distance of 251-305 km (0.834 %), at least at a distance of 50 km to 0.252 %. Age of chickens at slaughter, an average of 35.13 days and slaughter weight was on average 1.93 kg. Most deaths occurred during transport of broilers during the winter 0.919 %, the correlation coefficient r = 0.37, less than 0.316 % in summer (r = 0.02).
Noises on farms for breeding broilers and its spreading to surrounding neighbourhood
TŮMA, Marek
The aim of this thesis on the topic "Noises on farms for breeding broilers and its spreading to surrounding neighbourhood" was to find out how the noise load influences the surroundings of two farms for breeding broilers. Repeated measures and following analysis of the particular values of the noise load, was used to determine, whether the relevant legislation and other norms are respected. Calculations of equivalent level of acustic pressure were used to compare chosen cases and to final evaluation.
