Degradace motorového oleje v zahradní technice
Burian, Martin
The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of engine oils degradation in a garden machinery. In the theoretical part, there is a description of the basic functions and properties of engine oils, their production, composition and also used standard classifications. The practical part is devoted to evaluation of the degradation of five selected engine oils. There are described the oils, the selected garden machinery (five machines with a four-stroke spark-ignition engine) and also the sampling methodology and measuring devices. Two samples of oil were taken from each machine – a partially used and a used engine oil, which were compared with a new oil of the same specification and designation. For all samples, their dynamic viscosity (at 40 °C), density and amount of selected metal wear particles were measured. In the final chapter, the measured parameters are processed into a tables and graphs, and the results are discussed.

Sobotka, Petr
Bachelor Thesis New Trends in Automotive Engine Oils deals with viscosity and performance classifications of engine oils that are available on our market. There are also mentioned classes of performance classification API and ACEA forpetrol and diesel engines. Furthermore, the company's standards for vehicle manufacturers such as Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz are included in thiswork. There are also other standards, which are also mentioned in thiswork. In more detail, this work describes the composition of engine oils and conditionsfor use. The work is also complemented by a sub-chapter of additives that performs a very important function in this sector. Another part of this work is focused on theis sue of storage and handling of engine oils. Last but not least, the trends of oil producers as well as additives manufacturers are mentioned.
Stanovení teplotní závislosti motorových olejů pro zemědělskou techniku
Přibyl, Patrik
This diploma thesis deals with determination of temperature dependence of motor oils of agricultural technology. Five farm machines were selected and the oil used for servicing the engine oil was a sample of the used oil and a sample of the new oil. For both samples, their physical and mechanical properties were measured in relation to temperature. The first part of the thesis deals with the description of the engine oil functions, the production technology, the classification and the physical properties engine oils. The second part deals with description of measurement methodology and description of measuring machines in the first half of the year and in the second half the results of the measurement are interpreted and discussed
Nové trendy v motocyklových olejích
Steiner, Jiří
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of motorcycle oils and overall with lubricant issues. In the first part, the work is focused on lubricants in general, how they are used, how these lubricants are divided, and last but not least, how lubricants are stored and transported. The next part is focused on engine oils. How engine oil is produced and what was their evolution, engine oil requirements, function, properties and classification of engine oils. Next part is about additives which are used and what kind of additives we have. The penultimate part is devoted to motor oils and to the problem of lubrication of two-stroke and four-stroke engines. In the last part, the thesis is focused on new trendy motorcycle oils and solves the production of modern motor oils.
Teplotní závislosti různě viskózních automobilových motorových olejů
Piták, Jan
This thesis is focused on the determination of the temperature dependence of automotive engineoils with different viscosity class. The first part of the thesis describes the individual functions, properties and composition of engineoils which it is possible to meet the automotive industry. Experimental part deals with temperature dependence density and viscosity of five new engine oils and one used engine oil with the same specification as one of the new oil. The four oils are classified with synthetic base and one with mineral base. The viscosity measurement was carried out using digital rotary viscometer Brookfield DV2T LV and the density measurement was carried out using a digital densitometer Densito 30 PX. As expected, the values of shear stress, dynamic viscosity, kinematic viscosity and density decreased with increasing temperature. Temperature dependence of density and viscosity of oils was modelled using an exponential function, in which were subsequently evalued coefficients of determination R2.
Stanovení teplotních závislostí motocyklových olejů
Ondrášek, Petr
This thesis deals with the determination of temperature dependence of motorcycle oils. A review of literature contains knowledge of fluid mechanics, partition information, use, appropriate selection and analysis of lubricants including their production and historical development. It is also characterized by a chapter dealing with the recycling of lubricants, including legal claims needed to be placed on the market. There is also a chapter on the lubricating circuit of motorcycles. The practical part of the detailed specification used oil samples, including technical parameters motorcycles from which they were taken. The data needed for evaluation was obtained by measurement with a rotary viscometer DV2T and apparatus for measuring the density Densito 30 PX. The values so obtained were graphically using Microsoft Excel 2010 for application of a suitable mathematical model.
Stanovení teplotní závislosti automobilových motorových olejů stejné viskozitní třídy
Korbička, Jiří
The thesis deals with motor oil with the same viscosity class 5W-30. Five samples were monitored for new oil and two samples of the used motor oil of the same specification. Their physical and mechanical properties were compared depending on temperature. The first part is focused on the production of motor oils and their classification. In subsequent chapters their functions and features are described. The last part includes the description of methodology, the actual measurement, graphical and statistical processing of data, comparing results and conclusions.
Degradace motorového oleje ve vznětovém motoru užitkového automobilu
Bílík, Jan
This thesis discusses the degradation of engine oil in a diesel engine of utility vehicle. The first part focuses on the fundamental issues of science discipline, which deals with identification of existing motors current status using information obtained from the analysis of the lubricants and fundamental character of lubricants. The next chapter is to outline the division oil production and their causes and methods of actual degradation. The actual chapter is also devoted to the lubrication system and its function. The experimental part deals with the actual provisions of the degradation of engine oil. There is a described process of taking individual samples and the methods for the determination of the examined physical quantity. Furthermore, the results themselves are processed and shown in the organized charts, where values were interleaved by linear regression and determination coefficients of R2 determination. In the end, conclusion of summary and discussion of the result are made.
Motor oils in aviation
Veselý, Jan ; Pexa, Martin (advisor) ; Pavlů, Jindřich (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to handle the problems of the literary tribodiagnostic, aviation oils using in piston engines and to provide analysis from taking oil samples from monitoring engines during working, evaluate it and recommend corection in maintanence service of these engines on based results typify as graphs. In chapter Analysis of the present state, there is described principle of working oil system in aviation engines including attributes of motor oils and demand requirements. The last part in this chapter is devoted to tribodiagnistic. In chapter Objective and methodology of thesis, there are described the machine on which the measurement was carried out and the methodology of individual tribodiagnostic analysis and sampling. Chapter Results contains the graphs based on the measured values including partial conclusion of the measurement and discussion.
Determining of Oil Change Interval of Tractors
Pavlišta, Libor ; Hönig, Vladimír (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis was determination of tractor engines oil drain interval. In theoretical chapters is described theoretical background of the field of engines lubrication and issue of use of motor oils in practice. The drain intervals were determined using a tribotechnical diagnosis of collected samples of a motor oil from tractors. The analysis of the samples were processed in a laboratory and the dominant parameters that influence the wear of the oil were detected. On the basis of the application of a trend analysis were determined the reference values of the levels of oil degradation. After taking the evaluation and discussion of the results were defined oil drain intervals for the tractors. At the end there was made an evaluation of the results and operational recommendations. The thesis includes also an economical evaluation.
