Socio-geographical regionalization of Benesov district in 2001-2011 and the impact of work attractiveness of Prague on its changes

Commuting became an inseparable part of everyday life of contemporary society and an analysis of commuting flows has a fundamental meaning for capturing social- geographical organization of society. The main object of this thesis is to identify changes in geographical aspects of commuting to work and school in the Benešov district during the period 2001-2011. The second object is to evaluate the impact of macroregional centre of Prague on the commuting in Benešov district. The district is, taking into consideration the nearness and a good traffic connesction to Prague, appropriate example for assessing the impact of macroregional centre on neighbouring micro-regions. This impact is followed by an analysis of commuting flows and also by a questionnare survey. The purpose of the questionnare survey is to capture how people feel about commuting to work and labour market in Prague. Posouzení kvality venkovské destinace - mikroregion Ždánický les a Politaví

This bachelor thesis deals with rural destination microregion Ždánice forest and Politaví, defines its main natural, cultural and other attractions, evaluates quality of this destination based on opinions of tourists and local inhabitants. In addition it names the most important dimension of factors of quality according to people who participated in research. At the end of this thesis the results of both primary and secondary research are summarized.

Strategický plán vybraného mikroregionu

This diploma thesis bearing title Strategic Plan of the selected Micro-region deals with processing of a strategic development plan for Bojkovsko micro-region, assotiations of towns and municipalities. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part which is literary research follows up definitions of basic concepts including the structure and process of elaboration of the strategic plan. Thesis continues with second part which is socio-economic analysis of the examined Bojkovsko micro-region followed with SWOT analysis. Thesis also includes questionnaire survey focused on the views of municipal representatives on development of the examined micro-region. Lastly the strategic plan of the Bojskovsko micro-region is designed which can be beneficial for further development of the territory.

Strategic development plan of the microregion

The diploma thesis Strategic development plan of the microregion Beckov - Zelená Voda - Bezovec is focused on the strategic analysis and strategic plan of the mentioned microregion. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical frame of strategic planning as well as strategic planning in Slovak republic. The second part deals with the situational and SWOT analysis of the microregion Beckov - Zelená Voda - Bezovec. In order to form the final strategic plan, the questionnaire survey among the mayors of the microregion has been conducted. The last part of the thesis consists of the strategic plan and implementation part.

Analýza a srovnání specifik krajiny mikroregionu Bučovicko

The thesis dealt with the analysis and comparison of the specifics of the landscape Bučovicko microregion, which is located in Vyškov district. There were identified and analyzed changes in the landscape of the micro-region with a focus on small-scale protected areas, their comparison during the selected time period, including a comparison of proposals and implementation plans. There was realized a literature review, a comparative method and the method of semi-structured interview and SWOT analysis. The results are following: according to analysis of land use, the Bučovicko microregion increases the area of agricultural land since 2000-2016 by 11.5 %, while the area of forest land decreased by 12.5 %. Comparing to the use of specially protected areas in the Bučovicko microregion during the 1950-2013, implementation management plans for such areas applied immediately after their announcement. According to semi-structured interviews with representatives of the government results were rather negative, mainly due to restrictions on activities. The results of SWOT analysis underlined strengths, mainly thanks to Bučovice status as a district center and the main actor in relation to the development of the microregion.

In the theoretical part are mentioned terms such as tourism, rural tourism, tourism factors, destination management, destination quality. In the practical part are described localization, realization and selective factors of micro-reion. Based on the questionnaire survey, answers are evaluated and proposals for improving quality are created for the factors that have been evaluated worst.

Then I describe demographic and environmental characteristics of the area. Based on my own research and questionnaire survey, I present the development potential of the microregion Ivančice.

Krajinná paměť venkova - srovnání vybraného mikroregionu na Ukrajině a v České republice

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the landscape memory of the countryside. The theoretical part is elaborated in the form of literary research. Typical Ukrainian and Czech countryside are described here, the rural morphology, the history and present of the countryside and the forms of rural perception are described. The practical part is focused on identification of specifics and comparison of specifically selected microregions in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. Both in terms of time and especially in terms of land use. Different methods are used in the given work. Field survey method, comparative method, regression analysis and SWOT analysis. They were developed by a strategy for the development of the Ukrainian and Czech countryside. As a result, unlike Mikulov, the Podhaitsy microregion has a shortage of experts in the agricultural sector, an imperfect export structure, a low proportion of high-quality products capable of exporting, a negative balance of migration and a low standard of living. Therefore, the Podhaitsy microregion should focus on increasing the agricultural segment, increasing the number of vocational agricultural schools and increasing the standard of living in the microregion as a whole.

Brownfieldy a možnosti jejich využití - případová studie mikroregionu Valašskomeziříčsko-Kelečsko

This diploma thesis is focused on issues of old and unused objects or areas, called brownfields. The main goal was to characterize brownfields, their distribution and related concepts and problems. With the field survey method were identified four brownfields in the selected microregion and was detected their current status and current or future use. Another used method was a questionnaire. All of the results showed that the problem of brownfields is becoming more and more actual and that there are a lot of these areas in the micro-region but only a few of them were recultivated.

Diploma thesis entitled "Strategic plan of selected microregion" deals with strategic analysis and compilation of strategic plan focused on development of the microregion Bílé Karpaty. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of the thesis consists of a literature review which deals with the definition of basic theoretical concepts in the scope of strategic planning and the process of creating a strategic document. In the second part of the thesis a situational analysis of the chosen area is created which is followed up with SWOT analysis. Furthermore, a questionnaire survey is carried out, the aim of which is to find out the opinion of the representatives of the microregion municipalities on the individual areas of life in the territory and the direction of development of the microregion. At the end of the thesis there is a design of the strategic plan of the microregion Bílé Karpaty.
