Analysis of the Buying Conditions at the Klatovy Area

The main aim o the present thesis was to evaluate the shopping conditions in the area of the town Klatovy and to define geografically the selling units in this area plus to suggest the possibilities for improvement. Another aim of this thesis was to give an overall view into the retailing units in this area.
Analysis of selected brand from the Czech Quality Programme: Q21 - 21st century store

The aim of this thesis was to present and subsequent analysis of quality brand Q21 - 21st century store. Through a questionnaire survey conducted at the level of brand holders, brand manager and customers of two certified retail units have been identified its strengths and weaknesses. Since 2010 is this brand part of the Czech Quality Programme, which currently covering together 20 independent brands. This Programme should help consumers in shopping orientation, but also assist entrepreneurs in bringing new quality products and services to market.

Analysis of the retail network in Klatovy

The goal of this graduation thesis is to analyze the retail network related to food products in the city Klatovy and to evaluate whether the number of the retail units is appropriate for this area. Assess whether the number of retail units corresponds to the number of the population and the optimal area for Klatovy. The first part is focused on the different concepts and describes methods regional analysis. In the second part there is described the history and sights of the city Klatovy. After that follows characteristic of individual stores (retail units focused on the sale of food products), regional analysis of Klatovy and finally the evaluation questionnaire on the citizen buying habits and satisfaction with shopping in Klatovy.

The main objective of my thesis is to carry out a market research of private labels in two retail units in České Budějovice, namely in the Albert supermarket and the Terno supermarketBefore I commenced the research, I had determined six hypotheses which I then exploredThe results of the Albert supermarket were compared with the Terno supermarket and several recommendations were proposed to improve the situation of the company.
