Implementation of Lean Production in Production Plant
Peterka, Zdeněk ; MBA, Marek Chromý, (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the practical implementation of lean manufactur-ing elements according to the lean methodology in an engineering company engaged in job production in order to reduce waste and increase production efficiency. At the beginning of the thesis is a presentation of a company that manufactures steam turbines. The following is a short chapter on the background of lean manufactur-ing, focusing on the Kaizen philosophy. The main focus of this thesis is on 3 projects of a practical demonstration of the application of lean manufacturing. The aims are to re-duce waste, streamline production and other individual goals. Each project contains an introduction to the problem, setting its goals, performing a root cause analysis with pro-posing measures to meet the project objectives. The evaluation of the project contains both the achieved benefits as well as the limitations of the provided solution. At the end of this work is an overall evaluation of the financial benefits and costs of individual projects.
Design Optimization of The Production Process
Neckařová, Ivana ; Burianková, Alena (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the optimization of manufacturing process of heated door at SCHOTT FLAT GLASS CR, Ltd., where downtimes occur as a result of unbalanced workplaces together with inappropriate layout of the workplace in the production. The first part explains the concepts of lean manufacturing, types of wasting and balancing workplaces through Yamazumi method. Further part consists of an analysis of the current state and the unveiling of manufacturing activities responsible for downtimes. The last section includes proposals of possible solutions for the situation, leading to reduced movements of material, human resources and such distribution of manufacturing operations among operators that will result in the elimination of downtimes, reduction of tact time and saving of production area.
The Study of the Operating Production Management
Mayerbergová, Ilona ; Ing. Jaromír Černý, Ph.D (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to use the principles of lean manufacturing to lean workplace and eliminate all forms of waste in this workplace. A part of this work is opti-mal design of the workplace in terms of ergonomics which should have a positive effect on shortening lead time and process cycle efficiency. Shortening the lead time will allow company to respond more quickly to customer requirements and this effect may subsequently lead to the drop in inventories.
Design of Material Flows in the Production Process
Jurásková, Anna ; Juřica, Pavel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of material flow and lean manufacturing in a given section of a selected manufacturing company. The diploma thesis focuses on the weaknesses of the current state of the selected workplace and defines the areas for improvement. The first part presents the theoretical basis of the work. The second part of the work is focused on analyzing the current state of the workplace. There are provided solutions for better material flow and to implement selected elements of lean manufacturing in the last part.
On the optimization of a production line in a mass production
Lyčka, Aleš ; Venclík, Milan (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma project deals with the production line in the selected company. The theoretical part is dealing with lean production, followed by the company description and description of the production line itself. The diploma project looks at the production line from a variety of perspectives and looks for the most appropriate points to optimize. The most important aspects are the efficiency of production and ergonomics. After finding critical points, different solutions are proposed and they are further elaborated, evaluated and the most appropriate one is recommended.
The Introduction of Lean Manufacturing Approaches With a Focus on Labor Productivity
Vavrík, Michal ; Rosenberg,, Pavel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the implementation of lean manufacturing approaches to specific manufacturing task in a selected company. It sets out the basic requirements for elements of lean manufacturing and analyzing specific current production task. Includes proposed solutions that could contribute to the efficiency of production processes in the company.
Optimization of a selected manufacturing production
Kolenič, Michal ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Táto diplomová práca popisuje optimizáciu obrábacieho procesu za účelom zvýšenia produktivity výrobnej linky. Zadanie bolo vypracované v priebehu priemyselnej stáže vo firme Stellantis na obábacej linke blokov valcov motoru DV. Práca vysvetľuje metódy analýzy strát produktivity na výrobnej linke a aplikácii opatrení smerujúcich ku zvýšeniu produktivity, obzvlásť nasadenie nástrojov štíhlej výroby. Najviac boli nasadené nástroje SMED, ktorého cieľom je optimizácia výmeny rezných nástrojov, a TPM, ktorý ma za cieľ zvýšiť spoľahlivosť výrobných prostriedkov.
Study of Lean Production in a Selected Production Plant and its Implementation
Kašpárková, Helena ; Ing. Josef Otrhálek. (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis deals with the possibility of improving work processes in a company operating in the Zlín region. Most of the production consists of the production of electronic components for the automotive industry. For the constant pressure to improve the production processes, the author focuses on the observation of the working day of an employee in the position of Warehouseman, handling trolley operator. From the materials obtained from the observation conducted, ways of streamlining the processes necessary to keep the production flowing were suggested.
