The romantic Elements in the Novels by Karolína Světlá

The purpose of this work is to find out if and in what degree the romantic elements appear in works of Karolína Světlá ? in Prague proses. The text is divided into two parts. The first one is focused on the definition of romanticism and its formation in Bohemia. The main romantic elements are determinated further. The second part is devoted to the analysis of single works by Karolína Světlá. The stories and novels are sorted in chronological sequence. In all of them I focuse on given categories and the romantic elements occurring in them. The motives, which appear only in some writing, aren?t omissioned. The small summary is mentioned at the end of each writing analysis. The most frequently motives of Prague proses and the degree of influence by romanticism in creation by Karolína Světlá are assessed at the end.
