Study of physical properties of metallic nanostructures with induced magnetic anizotropy
Jesenská, Eva ; Veis, Martin (advisor) ; Kouřil, Karel (referee)
The aim of this thesis is a systematic study of physical properties of magnetic multilayered nanostructures. Namely it include multilayered spin valves NiFe/Cu/Co with magnetic anisotropy iduced by magnetic field applied during the deposition. Induced magnetic anisotropy influences exchange interactions between magnetic layers and so it gives the possibility to control magnetic properties of nanolayers. This is important for applications in MRAM, magnetoresistive read heads and spin-transfer-torque devices. Magnetooptic spectroscopy and Kerr effect hysteresis loop measurement were used as effective probe techniques. Secondly we examinated Ar3+ rf sputtering influence on multilayer interface quality level. We found out, that Ar3+ irradiation during deposition process has a possitive effect on interface quality.
Fatigue Properties of Ultra-fine Grain Copper Produced by ECAP Method
Navrátilová, Lucie ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Pantělejev, Libor (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes properties of ultra-fine grain Cu prepared via ECAP procedure. The influence of fatigue loading with positive mean stress on S-N curve (i.e. fatigue life), cyclic plastic behaviour and grain size was investigated. It was found that tensile mean stress leads to shorter lifetime in comparison with fatigue loading with zero mean stress. During main part of the lifetime, significant hardening of UFG Cu was observed. There is no distinct effect on microstructural orientation and stability.
The heavy metal contamination of selected sites in Ostrava
Mihočová, Silvie ; Pavlovský, Jiří (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the assessment of contamination of non-agricultural soils of selected locations in Ostrava of hazardous metals. Selection of locations was based on the stationary pollution source REZZO1. Total 36 collected samples from 12 locations in three times periods between July 2010 and March 2011 that each collection represented a different time period for characteristic emissions conditions. The risk of metals mercury, cadmium, lead, copper and chromium were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry (F AAS, ET AAS, AMA 254).The influence of the distance of locations from stationary sources of REZZO1 on the extent of soil contamination by selected metals was confirmed.
Investigation of the VOC Oxidation Catalysts Based on Hydrotalcite-Like Compounds
Kovanda, F. ; Jirátová, Květa ; Koloušek, D. ; Dorničák, V. ; Čuba, Pavel
Properties of various calcined hydrotalcite-like compounds (Ni, Cu, Mn, Fe, Mg, Al) were evaluated a their activities in VOC combustion determined.
