The instrumentation of the theater hall
SUFČÁK, Pavel
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to summarize technical equipment of the theater hall in Prachatice, make calculations of reverberation times of specific hall and come up with adjustments to improve acoustic characteristics of examined hall. Come up with electroacoustic improvements of installed technical devices in the hall and make a list of improvements for future.

Alternative solutions to reduce the noise pollution propagated from the roads
NOVÁK, Michal
The work describes the problems of unwanted noise arised from the traffic on roads and designs its own alternative constructions for reducing noise from road traffic. The noise studies of South Bohemia Region in chosen part between Český Krumlov-Větřní are used as background. The work describes the acoustic conditions of the physical point of view, the properties of sound spreading along the roads in the area, explains the concepts of noise from traffic and noise emissions, enumerate the relevant standard requirements and criteria. On this theoretical base, there result input-output requirements necessary to implement measures to reduce noise. The work aims to propose and evaluate preliminarily a different type of noise barriers, as one of the measures to reduce noise from roads, compared with commonly used structures. To achieve the proposed objectives and to assess the possibility of using other combinations of materials, methods of connection and shape geometry of structures.

Differential worksheets by physics education at basic school
ŠTĚRBOVÁ, Lada
My diploma thesis deals with the creation of differentiated worksheets for teaching physics on upper primary schools. It is focused specifically on optics and acoustics. The worksheets are used during the physics courses as the variety and supplement teaching in subsequent exercises at home, the development of selected key competencies, enhancing physical and logical thinking, the acquisition and consolidation of concepts and skills in the field of physics. Also in support of homework and even in extracurricular student experiments.

Sound recording with a focus on education
DITRICH, Vít
This bachelor work deals with sound recording, especially with that of musical instruments. At first the physical qualities of sound, basic terms and the introduction to acoustics are explained. We will discuss sources of sound, how the sound comes up and in which way the musical instruments work. Furthermore we will solve the most used types of microphones and their correct and suitable application. We will focus on each musical instrument and on ways how to write down sound to be the best. Then we will clear up the sound processing, how the process of recording goes and its easy adjustment, which can be used in musical editors. We will finish looking at the possibilities of saving the records and which audio file formats are mainly used by musicians.

Fish orientation along the longitudinal profile of the Rimov reservoir
TUŠER, Michal
The aim of this work was to verify the assumption of random fish orientation in the lacustrine zone of the ``canyon-shaped{\crqq} Rimov reservoir and to compare distributions of fish orientation in the lacustrine and tributary zone. The study confirmed that most fish were oriented randomly in the lacustrine zone of the reservoir, whereas in the tributary fish moved predominantly in parallel with the longitudinal axis of reservoir.

Možnosti ladění a optimalizace akustických rezonančních vlastností vokálního traktu člověka
Radolf, Vojtěch ; Vampola, T.
The paper deals with optimization process finding such geometrical form of acoustical cavities of the human supraglottal spaces which leads to excitation of predefined acousic resonance, especially between a domain of the third and the fifth formant. The problem is solved by the transfer matrix method using conic acoustic elements for the vocal tract modelling and numerical method of searching a minimum of a goal function of several variables. The results should help to obtain a physical background for voice rehabilitation, for teaching of opera singers at musical facuoties and for better understanding of biomechanics of voice production.
