Analýza odpočinkového chování dojnic slovenského strakatého skotu ve volném kotcovém ustájení
Sitárová, Ema
The aim of this bachelor thesis, entitled Analysis of resting behaviour of dairy cows of Slovak spotted cattle in free stall housing, was the ethological observation of dairy cows and their basic daily activities. The activities observed on a specified group of dairy cows were: preference of lying and standing, preferred side of lying (left and right side). The experiment was carried out on an agricultural cooperative in western Slovakia, PD Pravotice. A total of 18 observations of dairy cows were made within one calendar year. During the whole observation 1572 cases were evaluated. The observed performance parameters were milk yield (kg milk), lactation phase (days) and lactation order (n). Over the entire follow-up period, it was found that dairy cows were lying rather than standing and if lying, they preferred to lie on their right side (p < 0.05). A demonstrable preference for the right flank was found only in cows at 5th lactation and above. (p < 0,05). The observed differences in milk yield depending on resting behaviour were not significant (p > 0.05). A demonstrable difference was found in the relationship between lactation order and milk yield, where the lowest daily milk yield was found in cows on the second lactation and this performance then increased with increasing lactation order (p < 0.01).
Nemoci pohybového aparátu u dojeného skotu a zásady jejich prevence
Švestková, Ivona
This bachelor thesis deals with orthopedic diseases of dairy cattle and their consequent prevention and their impact on the health condition of dairy cows and their utility. The work in the theoretical part presents the principes of cattle breeding, the basic anatomy of the locomotor apparatus of cattle and the influences that affect the development and health of the locomotive apparatus. The main part is a description of the most common diseases of the musculoskeletal system, principes of hoof particular and threatment and other preventive measures used to minimize the occurrence of limping and other problems associated with the musculoskeletal system. In the practical part of the thesis, an overview of the occurrence of diseases and other musculoskeletal disorders and the methods of their prevention in a particular dairy farming are elaborated. Dermatitis digitalis/interdigitalis, purulent wall and Rusterholz´s ulcer were found to occur most frequently, with the occurrence of diseases mostly more frequent in the winter than in the summer. Furthermore, after 3-4 months it has been proven that there are conditions on the newly built stables that are more suited to the dairy cow´s limbs.
Vliv technologie ustájení na parametry mléčné užitkovosti dojnic českého strakatého skotu
Buřvalová, Michaela
This bachelor thesis studies stabling of dairy cattle, types of technologies used in dairy cattle breeding and their influence on parameters of milk production of dairy cattle. Literary review is divided in three main sections. first one is devoted to the Czech Fleckvieh cattle, the second part studies the dairy production and the last section is dedicated to possible variants of technologies used in dairy cattle breeding. In the practical part an analysis of the influence of stabling technology on dairy production parameters of dairy cows was performed. The experiment was preformed in an agriculture company AGRO Liboměřice a.s. specifically on farms Pohled, Liboměřice and Nové Lhotice (an old production stable and later also a new production stable). The dairy production data were collected from milk recording scheme for two years then were compared according to the quality of individual stables. The experiment showed, that the used technology and type of stabling has a demonstrable impact on milk yield and also on milk elements content. In this particular company the main factors that affected the dairy production were probably the amount of cows breeded within one group, the type of used litter and the quality of the stable microclimate. There was also found that due to the effect of relatively significant stress factors, the milk yield will decrease despite a notable increase in the quality of stabling.
