Bachelor thesis evaluates the determinants of lending in the sel-tion Eurozone countries (Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany) during the financial crisis (2008-2009) and the period of recovery after the financial crisis (2010-2015). The theoretical part describes the emergence and expansion of the financial crisis and its impact on selected countries of the Eurozone. In the result part exam-ined the results of an empirical analysis using OLS for each country in each period. Individual determinants influence on the course of lending. In conclusion, these results are summarized and compared with scientific articles.

This diploma thesis deals with minorities in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is mainly focused on the current situation of the political scene in relation to the minority issues and development of Germany as a new European multicultural superpower. The Federal Republic of Germany has experienced a significant influx of immigrants since the middle of the previous century and the number of them reaches nine percent of the total population nowadays. The most numerous group of foreigners are the Turks with more than 1,5 milion of them living there. The theme of the thesis is treated as a historical and geographic development of selected minorities in the Feredral Republic of Germany from the so-called multicultural viewpoint, which is the base stone that helps to understand both, the individuals and the groups of different cultures, which highlights the cultural diversity. Data regarding immigration of population from available sources are commented on in the framework of the quantitative research. Another point is the prognosis of immigration of population at the level of federation The aim of the thesis is to introduce the background of ethnic composition of minorities in Germany in the framework of assertion of the current immigration policy. This diploma thesis also deals with issues related to immigration, employment policy and social policy in Germany.

Lefká, I. The influence of macroeconomic indicators on the amount of written premiums in selected EU countries. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2013. The aim of this thesis is to identify macroeconomic variables that affect the amount of written premiums in selected EU countries - the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and the Slovak Republic. For each country is developed an econometric model that explains the dependence of written premiums to GDP, inflation, unemployment rate and the average wage, following by an economic, statistical and econometric model verification. The data used was obtained from the Sigma statistics of reinsurance company Swiss Re, the European (re)insurance federation (Insurance Europe), the World Bank, the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and other expert sources.

Kolmačková, M. Economic and legal impacts of the amendment to the Labor Code in the area of Kurzarbeit in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2021. This bachelor thesis focuses on economic and legal impacts of Kurzarbeit in Czech Republic. The main objective is to identify the failures of Kurzarbeit, find the optimal solution and reduce any inefficiencies. This topic is researched by comparing of czech and german Kurzarbeit. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the concept of Kurzarbeit and its impact on the german and czech economy and their subsequent comparison. In the practical part, the knowledge was obtained from articles related to this topic and answers from questionnaire from the hotels, which were addressed and use the program Antivirus. Based on the collection of the obtained information, the failures were identified and their subsequent solution was found.

Integrace migrantů v Německu a její sociálně ekonomické souvislosti

The bachelor thesis deals with the integration of migrants in Germany and its social and economic context. The aim is to evaluate the integration of migrants in Germany, based on the study of indicators of integration, migration and integration policies, and provide suggestions for improving the integration of immigrants in this country. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to migration and integration of migrants and briefly describes the German integration approaches and legislation. The practical part focuses on the integration of migrants in Germany, where focused primarily on the labour market and unemployment, the education system, social inclusion and other economic and social aspects. The paper then made a comparison of integration approaches of the Czech Republic and Germany, there are presented suggestions for improving the integration of migrants in Germany and applicable knowledge for the Czech Republic

Energiewende: zdroje, cíle a dopady

The diploma thesis deals with the German energy transition known as Energiewende. It examines how this transition has been affected by the political situation and how it will develop in the future. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the goals of Energiewende have been influenced by political decisions over the years and whether the selected goals will be met by 2050. The thesis initially describes the historical development of Germany from the 70s to 90s of the 20th century politics and ecology. It analyzes actions of individual governments - between 1998 and 2020 and predicts the fulfillment of Energiewende's goals. The aim of my thesis is then achieved by evaluating the analysis and prediction.

Investovanie do korporátnych dlhopisov v Európe v rokoch 2008 - 2018

PATZELTOVÁ, S. Investing into corporate bonds in Europe in years 2008 – 2018. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2020. The bachelor thesis deals with the elaboration of a recommendation for an investor to invest in corporate bonds in selected markets. For this the thesis uses corporate bond indices. The literature overview consists of the description of the basic types of bonds and the way in which bonds are issued and traded. Great em-phasis is placed on the returns and risks associated with bonds. It is further de-scribed how bonds are rated and indexed. The second part deals with the analysis of bond indices of France, Germany, Netherlands, and Spain with emphasis on vol-atility and return-risk ratio. Subsequently, a comparison of the results of individu-al countries is developed. The final chapter is devoted to the elaboration of rec-ommendations for individual types of investors.
