Influence of rare-earth elements on InP-based semiconductor structures for radiation detectors
Grym, Jan ; Procházková, Olga
Preparation and characterization of InP epitaxial layers with Tb admixture in the growth melt is reported. Structural, electrical and optical properties of InP layers exhibit a signaficant dependence on the presence of Tb and its concentration in the melt. When increasing the concentration of Tb in the growth melt the reversal of electrical conductivity occurs.
Numerical and experimental study of stress wave propagation in thin steel plate
Kolman, R. ; Kuliš, Z. ; Trnka, Jan ; Plešek, Jiří ; Pták, Svatopluk
The paper deals with the research wave propagation in the thin isotropic plate. The problem is solved both numerically and experimantally. The full- fiel visualisation of the displacements caused by generated waves was carried out by double-pulse holointerferometry. The perpendicular impact to the surface of the plate was generated by means of a sample with an exploding wire. The numerical and experimental results are compared and discused.
Comparison of turbulence models for impinging jet flows
Kozel, K. ; Louda, P. ; Příhoda, Jaromír
Paper deals with the comparison of various turbulence models for computation of the 2D and 3D impinging jet flows. The best agreement with experimental data was obtained for the two-layer k-L/k-eps model and Menter SST model.
Electron Backscattering Diffraction Analysis of Secondary Crack Propagation in Low-Alloy Bainitic Steel
Nohava, Jiří ; Haušild, P. ; Bompard, P.
Electron Backscattering Diffraction (EBSD) allows to generate crystallographic date in a microstructural framework and to analyze crystallographic orientation distribution in thesample. The review deals with application of EBSD for analysis of secondary cleavage crack in low-alloy bainitic steel.Material analyzed was A 508 C1.3 low-alloy bainitic steel, which is used for construction.
