Seed treatment with new stimulative products – seed germination impact

The seeds of conventional crops have been tested for stimulation effect of a new technological generation of preparations originated in the company of TRISOL. Germination and growth experiments were performed in standard laboratory conditions. Seed germination, growth and dry weight of seedlings for winter wheat, spring barley and poppy seed were monitored. All preparations under development had a positive effect on the seed germination. Growth stimulatory effect was observed above all in poppy seed.

Ratio between weight of underground and aboveground body plant biomass is called as RW:SW. It is one of the most important characteristics of production biology but of agriculture and forest too. RW:SW ratio is geneticaly given by species. It changes during the onthogenetical development of the plant and according to relations with variability of an environmental space and stresses.
