Numerická simulace přenosu tepla pomocí Syntetizovaného proudění
Dančová, Petra ; Vít, Tomáš
The present paper is focused on numerical simulation of heat transfer of Synthetic Jet, which impacts on heated wall. To enhance of heat transfer is SJ combined with continual (steady) flow. Results from numerical simulation are compared with results measured by HWA method.
Dynamics of a boundary layer separation
Uruba, Václav ; Knob, Martin
Dynamical behavior of a boundary layer separation is studied using experimental approach. The dynamical nature of the phenomenon is demonstrated on a simple case of a boundary layer in adverse pressure gradient. The Time-Resolved PIV technique was utilized to study instantaneous structure of the separation region and its time development. Distinctive coherent structures and their dynamical behavior were identified using the POD and BOD methods.
Directional sensitivity of the hot-wire probes - effect of the geometry and Re
Antoš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Paper deals with the directional sensitivity of the hot-wire probe. A number of probes with different geometry were experimentally investigated at various Re numbers. Results of the directional function are discussed in detail.
Estimation of Influence of Temperature Dependence of Specific Heat Capacities of Working Fluid on the Properties of Internal Combustion Engines
Bayer, Zdeněk
The influence of the temperature dependence of specific heat capacities of working fluid on specific output, thermal efficiency, on product of these quantities and on conditions of their optima for the Otto and Diesel cycles in the non-overcharged and overcharged configurations is studied as a further development of a more general concept of thermal cycle analysis of internal combustion engines.
