Prevention of Atherosclerosis in Women – Some Results from Outpatient Department in EuroMISE Centre
Tomečková, Marie ; Grünfeldová, H. ; Peleška, Jan ; Hanuš, P. ; Marušiaková, M.
By atherosclerosis are affected men and women too, but it is given much less attention to these diseases in women. In the outpatient department of EuroMISE Centre in Prague, more women then men were examined. Women were older, their risk profile (factors antropometric, clinical, socio-economic and laboratory) was some better then in men, but not near to optimal values. It is necessary to bring advance attention to the investigation, prevention and the treatment of risk factors of atherosclerosis in women.
Využití komponent systému MUDRLite při sdílení dat elektronického zdravotního záznamu v stomatologii.
Špidlen, Josef ; Pieš, Martin ; Teuberová, Z. ; Nagy, Miroslav ; Hanzlíček, Petr ; Zvárová, Jana ; Dostálová, T.
The goal of the project named Information Technologies for Shared Health Care is the improvement of possibilities of sharing data between hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic health record (EHR) applications. Fulfilling it led to development of a pilot EHR system called MUDRLite EHR, that provides interfaces to include user-defined components. We applied these interfaces to a high-advanced component representing the dental cross - a crucial part of healthcare documentation in dental medicine.
Usage of International Nomenclatures and Metathesauruses in Shared Healthcare in the Czech Republic
Přečková, Petra ; Špidlen, Josef ; Zvárová, Jana
The article describes various metathesauruses and international nomenclatures used in health care. The focus is on the Unified Medical Language System, especially UMLS Metathesaurus. In our work we try to verify practical applicability of internationally used terminologies, thesauruses, ontologies, and classifications in attributes of the Minimal Data Model for Cardiology, in the Data Standard of Ministry of Health CR, and in several chosen modules of commercial hospital information systems.
Flexibilita datových modelů v aplikaci MUDRLite
Nagy, Miroslav ; Špidlen, Josef
MUDRLite application was developed within the research in the EuroMISE Centre. It connects the user interface described in XML file with data layer. The structure of data stored in the database is not fixed. It is designed to fulfil needs of the target application. The data structure is called ER-model and in a real database it is stored as a database schema. Sometimes it is necessary to slightly modify the ER-model. In the process of data model evolution a database schema synchronising tool is very useful.
Program BAYES
Heroutová, Helena
The program demonstrates Bayesian approach to the design of research studies in the health sciences. The central idea of the Bayesian method is the use of study data to update the state of knowledge about a quantity of interest. In study design, the Bayesian approach explicitly incorporates expressions for the loss resulting from an incorrect decision at the end of the study. The Bayesian method also provides a flexible framework for the monitoring of sequential clinical trials.
Elektronický zdravotní záznam v kontinuální sdílené zdravotní péči
Hanzlíček, Petr ; Ďurovec, Ján ; Nagy, Miroslav ; Zvárová, Jana ; Špidlen, Josef
The project"Information technologies for development of continuous shared health care" deals with the development of the methods and technologies helping to ensure the continuous shared health care by creation of the unified system of electronic health documentation including the use of chip cards and security aspects. The technological solution will be based on the results of previous research in EuroMISE Centre, results of European research and international standards of health informatics.
Využití standardů k vytvoření přenositelného elektronického zdravotního záznamu v České Republice
Ďurovec, Ján ; Hanzlíček, Petr
In recent years the usage of information systems has rapidly increased in many different areas including the area of providing healthcare services. One of them that developers of such systems face is a transfer of clinical data among various institutions and their automatic processing. We analyse the available national and European standards related to this area and propose a model of structured clinical data transfer among the information systems of healthcare providing facilities in the Czech Republic.
Information Kiosks – their Possibilities in Health Service
Brechlerová, Dagmar
This paper informs about possibilities of using information kiosks in health service. Different communication channels for communication in the health service are discussed and after it using of information kiosks. Questions of security of information kiosks using are discussed, too.
