Šmejkal, P. ; Pfleger, Jiří ; Vlčková, B.
Efficiency of laser ablation of Ag target with laser pulses of three different wavelengths, 1064, 532 and 355 nm, respectively, provided by the nanosecond Nd/YAG laser system was tested in a fluence range achievable for the particular wavelength.

Vlčková, B. ; Moskovits, M. ; Šlouf, Miroslav ; Šišková, K. ; Hromádková, Jiřina ; Naudin, C. ; Le Bourdon, G.
The preparation, TEM imaging and the measurement of temporally fluctuating (blinking) SERS signals of Ag nanoparticle dimers and small aggregates (trimers to dexamers) bridged by 4,4´-diamino-azobenzene molecules are reported.
Studie mechanismu laserové fragmentace nanočástic stříbra ve vodném prostředí
Dammer, Ondřej ; Pfleger, Jiří ; Vlčková, B. ; Šišková, K. ; Šlouf, Miroslav
The paper reports on the investigation of interaction of a high energy pulsed laser irradiation with a highly polydisperse hydrosol containing Ag nanoparticles. The study is focused on the process of nanoparticles fragmentation with respect to their shapes and sizes, and to the wavelength and energy of the NdYAG laser pulses used for the fragmentation.
Zlepšení fotoluminescenčních vlastností pomocí autoorganizace blokových kopolymerů
Pavlačková, Petra ; Křenek, R. ; Cimrová, Věra ; Výprachtický, Drahomír ; Stamm, M.
We report on enhancement of photoluminescence of conjugated homopolymers based on poly(p-phenylene) in blends with poly(styrene-block-4-vinylpyridine) copolymer (BC). Using self-organization of BC we may avoid aggregation of the homopolymers. We have got nanostructured films of the blends depending on type of the homopolymer. Enhancement of photoluminescence is also observed.
Testování silných optických polí v kompaktních agregátech stříbrných nanočástic pomocí SERRS spektroskopie protoporfyrinu IX
Sládková, M. ; Vlčková, B. ; Mojzeš, P. ; Šlouf, Miroslav ; Naudin, C. ; Le Bourdon, G.
TEM images and measurements of SERRS (surface-enhanced resonance Raman scattering) spectra as a function of the porphyrin concentrations in systems with unmodified and chloride-modified Ag nanoparticle and protoporphyrin IX are reported.
Fotogenerace nosičů náboje v polymerních nanokompozitech
Pfleger, Jiří ; Pavlík, Martin ; Vohlídal, J.
Polymer nanocomposites seem to be promising systems for solar cell application with polythiophene acting as photosensitizer and charge transport medium. The electrophoretic deposition proved to be suitable method for preparation nanostructured core/shell functional layers. The simplicity, fast operation rate and the possibility of covering surfaces of irregular shape, as well as a good quality of prepared films are the major advantages of the method.
Nanokompozity typu recyklát PET/organo-jíl
Kráčalík, Milan ; Puffr, Rudolf ; Pospíšil, L. ; Hrnčiřík, J. ; Fortelný, Ivan ; Šimoník, J.
The processable recycled PET/organo-clay nanocomposites were prepared via melt compounding method as a new possibility of recovery of the used PET bottles. XRD and rheological measurements revealed intercalation of polymer chains into the silicate gallery and significant increase of melt strength of the material, which result in improvement of processability of regranulate.
Metal Nanoclusters in Zeolite Nanocages: Synthesis and Characterization by X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy
Bastl, Zdeněk ; Spirovová, Ilona
Rhodium and palladium nanoparticles were prepared in zeolites X and Y from ion exchanged metal ammine complexes by thermal decomposition of the complexes. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was employed to characterize individual steps of decomposition and growth of metal nanoparticles. Substantial reduction of Pd-tetraammine complex in zeolites by X-ray irradiation leading to inward diffusion of Pd and production of highly dispersed metal has been observed. Autoreduction by heating up to 400 oC resulted in significant decrease of Rh surface concentration and less pronounced decrease of Pd surface concentration. The Pd metal autoreduction occured readily in Y zeolite yielding small nanoclusters of Pd. The shifts of the core level binding energy of metal 3d electrons observed for thermally reduced metals in zeolites were consistent with presence of highly dispersed Rh metal and/or Rh+ and indicated interaction of Pd nanoparticles with zeolite matrix.
