Experimental Analysis of Kinematic and Deformation Characteristics of a Fatigue Crack
Berka, Ladislav ; Horečka, L. ; Běhal, J. ; Minster, Jiří ; Václavík, P.
The kinematics and the deformation characteristics are analysed during the fatigue crack grouth under random cyclic loading accross the strip specimen. The stereoimage technique and the moire interferometry were used to analyse plastic strain distribution ground the crack. The resulting values, that follow from both methods are in good agreement.
Mechanical Properties of Rheonomic Materials
Minster, Jiří
There are introduced with consideration for engineering applications, constitutive equations small and moderate deformation behaviour of both non-ageing and ageing rheonomic materials, basic methods for identification of their mechanical characteristics and possibilities of an ultimate behaviour assessment.
The Common Mechanical Factor of Shape Memory
Kafka, Vratislav ; Vokoun, David
Shape memory is observed in elastic bodies, springs, bi-metals, in many mechanical actuators, such as thermostats and others, in many biological materials, and in special "shape memory alloys". It is shown that all systems or materials have one common factor: at least one elastic or thermoelastic continuous substructure, in the case of "shape memoryalloys" this substructure is on the atomic scale.
Performance of Reduced Quadrature Elements in Creep Problems
Korouš, Jan ; Pták, S. ; Plešek, Jiří ; Masák, J.
Reduced integration in FEM is often used for preventing so-called "locking" of elements. In the paper, the properties of isoparametricelements with different order of Gauss-Legendre integration wereinvestigated. Their behaviour was demonstrated on several creep problems.
A Comparison of Two Stochastic Methods for Solving the Random Response
Fischer, Cyril
The (time depended) correlation matrix of the response of a discretised system can be obtained using either integral spectral decomposition method or the correlation method. The both methods are extended for usetogether with the spline modulation function of excitation and compared.
