A study of the properties of tablets made of directly compressible sorbitol.
Zemanová, Eva ; Mužíková, Jitka (advisor) ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee)
A study of the properties of tablets made of directly compressible sorbitol. SUMMARY : The thesis deals with the study of the properties of tablets from two types of directly compressible sorbitol, namely SorbitabTM SD 250 a SorbitabTM SD 500. The focus of the study was the dependence of the tensile strength and disintegration time of the tablets on the compression force, the addition of lubricants magnesium stearate and sodium stearyl fumarate (Pruv ), with concentrations of 0,5% and 1% and a 50% addition of model active ingredients, namely acetylsalicylic acid and ascorbic acid. The compression forces were used 3, 4,5 and 6 kN; tablets containing the drugs were compressed only with a force of 6 kN. The tensile strength of tablets from SorbitabTM SD 500 was higher than of tablets from SorbitabTM SD 250. SorbitabTM SD 500 has demonstrated sensitivity to addition of both lubricants in both concentrations, unlike SorbitabTM SD 250, when the tensile strength of tablets decreased only with the addition of 1% magnesium stearate. The disintegration time of tablets was prolonged by the lubricants, in the case of tablets with SorbitabTM SD 500 most with 1% magnesium stearate at all compression forces. Higher tensile strength was found for tablets containing acetylsalicylic acid and for both drugs with SorbitabTM...

Zemanová, Eva ; Dušek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kašparová, Marie (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacognosy Candidate Mgr. Eva Zemanová Consultant Doc. RNDr. Jaroslav Dušek, CSc. Title of Thesis Phytopharmaceuticals used in the treatment of gastrointestinal tract This work aimed to critically evaluate the selected tea and proprietary products, which are used to treat gastrointestinal disease. In this work we evaluated three groups of tea and selected proprietary products, which are dividend into three groups as follows : Medicines used as laxatives, antidiarrhoeal drugs and a third group was focused on the treatment of digestive disorders (flatulence, anorexia). We also evaluated and compared pharmacopoeia, non pharmacopoeia tea blends and selected Proprietary Medicinal Products. We examinated the percentage of individual herbal drugs in tea mixtures and the representation of pharmacopoeia and non pharmacopoeia drugs.

"With Ivana at home" - natural childbirth as a disruption of power discourse: discoursive analysis of www.pribehyproivanu.cz
Zemanová, Eva ; Sokolová, Věra (advisor) ; Jahodová, Dita (referee)
The topic of this thesis is woman's experience with natural childbirth and its potential for disruption of medical discourse, which is in the Czech Republic in obstetrics still dominating. Through the method of discoursive analysis I am trying to generate any behavior that may be in conflict with social expectations and may question norms and standards in the field of pregnancy and obstetrics. I am also trying to trace whether and how does the deepening and gaining of the birth knowledge lead to the transformation of woman's identity. Theoretically, the work is grounded in a post-structuralist paradigm and builds on the concepts of biopower, performative acting and authoritative knowledge. Data sources are stories written in support of a midwife Ivana Königsmarková and published on the internet (www.pribehyproivanu.cz).

BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Jméno: Eva Zemanová Vedoucí práce: Kateřina Svěcená Název bakalářské práce: Case management z pohledu ergoterapeuta u osob se spinálním poraněním, Case Management from the point of view of the occupational therapist in persons with the spinal cord injurie Abstract: This Bachelor thesis concerns to case management for patients of spinal cord injury. It focuses on the concept of case management. This is a coordinated manage of case. Informs about the possibilities to connect services with the user and to coordinate the various phases of rehabilitation for spinal patients whose treatment is lengthy and takes place in many medical facilities.
