Pavlína Šumníková, Ph.D. The year of presentation: 2013 Abstract: The aim of this thesis was to use and verify basal stimulation in preschool children diagnosed with ADHD. I used simple methods of qualitative research - studying the history data, structured interview method, observation. Using the compiled program is able to demonstrate that the elements of basal stimulation can be used in individuals with ADHD. Basal stimulation is beneficial for them. The results show that helps maintain their calm. During the application of basal stimulation was also improved the perception of these children. The basal stimulation also has a positive effect on their ability to concentrate. However, during the application of the program, I failed to demonstrate that it has the effect on the projected extension of the capabilities. The compiled program, which was conducted on a sample of four probands, exceeded my expectations. In what can artefhiletic work improve preschool education?
This bachelor paper is dealing with the research question "In what can arte-philetic work improve pre-school education?" In first part the terms arte-philetic and art-therapy are introduced. The main text subsequently describes a seasons of the year arte-philetic project with pre-school children. From these 4 children were chosen for casual study proving changes in their abilites on the basic of an easy test as well as the interpretacion of their art production.

The verification of Halliwick´s method in Diagnostic Institution of Social Care in Černovice
I deal with the verification of Halliwick method in my bachelor thesis, specifically in the Diagnostic Institution of Social Care in Černovice. In the theoretical part there is the concept of health defined, I turn to the questions of health disability, especially I am interested in the specifics of mentally handicapped people. Further I deal with the sense of physical activity, especially with the sense of swimming for people with health disability. I describe the Halliwick method. The practical part contains the evaluation of the influence of Halliwick method on the sample of five mentally handicapped probands from the already mentioned institution. This physical programme was aplicated in ten parts through three months regularly each week. I used easy methods of quality investigation in the practical part {--} studying of anamnestic data, quided interview method and observation. The results confirm that Halliwick method helps to remove gradually the uncertain feelings associated with water. It generates joyful feelings from ongoing activities. Probands are interested in the further continuation after the completion of this educational programme.
