Reconciliation of family and work life in healthcare
Mandíková, Marie ; Štangová, Věra (advisor) ; Tomšej, Jakub (referee)
Reconciliation of family and work life in healthcare Abstract Reconciliation of family and work life is currently a topic of fundamental importance, not only from the perspective of the individual, but also from the perspective of society, as it relates to many issues of societal importance, such as the promotion of equality between men and women on the labour market, increasing the employment of women and motivating young couples to start families in order to increase the birth rate. Although the topic of harmonization of work and family life is currently receiving relatively high attention, and the regulations of labour law and social security law contain a wide range of instruments supporting the reconciliation of family and work life, it shall be remembered that there are professions that are more accessible than others for harmonizing work and family life (especially, for instance, "white collar" jobs, with the possibility of relatively wide flexibility). However, there are also professions in which it is very difficult to imagine an employee working from home or using, for instance, flexible working hours, as the nature of that particular profession does not allow it. This diploma thesis is devoted to the conflict between the legal theory of the harmonization of family and work life with practice in a...

Families Taking Caring of Seniors
Bačová, Alena ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Mandíková, Marie (referee)
The topic of my Bachelor thesis is called "Families taking caring of seniors". This text is divided into two parts. The first part speaks generally about eldery age.It focuses on the definition of the eldery age and the process of ageing. The important aspect is the personality of the particular senior and his or her needs. The attitudes of the society towards elderly people are also described in this chapter. The second part includes the characteristics and classification of family care about elderly people. This theme concentrates on care of the seniors by their family. In this case the elderly people usually feel dependent on their family. There are some solutions of such situations, for instance: the society establishes some institutions which try to help families and these people. One of the many institutions is day care. The government set out a new law about social service which can help every person who needs social care. The law states some conditions for users and for institutions that provide social care and services. This bachelor thesis tries to give some reflection of the new law concerning social services in terms of family care. It also describes situations of clients who use these social services and the workers of day care. There is an attempt to list negative and positive views of this...

Dařbujanová, Alena ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Mandíková, Marie (referee)
The questions of aging and age were always interested since the ancient time. But only in the recent years is this a notion. The social, economical and ethic notion. The humanking is globally aging and it must be solving. I am describing the current situation closely in my thesis. Rather the current situation and how can seniors aktive spending thein free time. I am interpreting the basics notions in first charter. The charter contains also a hindsight into the past and the descritpion of normal and unavoidable signs of aging. In the next charter I am interpreting a demografy, following the next charter about international and national documents about preparation on aging. The two next chapters are about social work with old people and about important life changes in lifes of seniors. On this teoretical part come next the practical part. It is the comparism of the study (essay - Needs of seniors in Prague 8 with the offer of provided social services) with activities for seniors (in Prague 8). The next part is about informations, services and possibilities of spending free time. In the end of my thesis are some variants, how can seniors be motivating into the aktive spending of their free time and into the healthy activities. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
