System for Autonomous Data Collection from Weighting Sensors
Lučanský, Adam ; Strnadel, Josef (oponent) ; Šimek, Václav (vedoucí práce)
Thesis implements a system for the remote weight measurements of the beehives. Bus-unit board (STM32F0) samples two load cells (HX711 converter) and exposes data to the CAN bus. All units are chained through telephone cable, with a master unit (Raspberry Pi 3) with CAN shield at one end collecting and sending data to the web-server. Wireless data transmission is provided by integrated WiFi. System is battery-powered and charged by a solar panel large enough to accommodate continuous operation. Data are shown to the user in web-interface. Autonomous electronic weight measurement replaces current tedious manual mechanical scale reading and the need to visit beehives personally. System is installed on beehives for a local beekeeper.
System for Autonomous Data Collection from Weighting Sensors
Lučanský, Adam ; Strnadel, Josef (oponent) ; Šimek, Václav (vedoucí práce)
Goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and create necessary electronics with plastic box enclosure and web-interface for low-cost beehive weight measurement. By measuring beehive weight in long term, health of colony can be determinted. In first part of the thesis, generic concepts of weight measuring, necessary electronics and means of wireless data transmission are presented. Later chapters are discussing proposed concept including firmware. Final chapter is presenting achieved results. First built unit will be given to the local hobby beekeeper.
Univerzálna platforma IoT senzorov novej generácie
Lučanský, Adam
Práce se zabývá hardwarovými IoT platformami, průzkumem stávajících platforem, návrhem vlastní modulární IoT platformy sestávající z desek plošných spojů propojených M2.COM standardem, přičemž na bezdrátovou komunikaci je použit LoRaWAN modem. Navržená platforma umožňuje připojování externích senzorů konektory mikroBUS a QWIIC. Funkčnost celého systému je ověřena počítáním pulsů ze zvoleného vodoměru jazýčkovým kontaktem.
