Detection of head biomechanical response during extreme loading
Fanta, Ondřej ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Kovanda, Jan (referee) ; Hynčík, Luděk (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Dissertation thesis March 2014 Ondřej Fanta ABSTRACT Title: Detection of head biomechanical response during extreme loading Objectives: The aim of the work was to monitor the current state of knowledge on the issue of closed head injuries, in contact and contactless respectively impacts, to establish appropriate biomechanical indicators for the detection and analysis of internal mechanical response under external mechanical load and to assess the specific circumstances that may affect the resulting injury criteria especially with regard to the actual reaction of the organism before impact. Methods: To the processing research were included and cited in particular impacted world-class publications and bibliography in the number of more than 80sources. The measurements and analysis of contact impacts were taken on the constructed impactor and the analysis of the contactless collisions were taken on the impacts simulator. The monitored biomechanical values were in particularly kinematic data describing the movement of the head towards the neck, values of acceleration of the head, head injury criteria and activity of selected muscles of the neck. Results: It consists diagram of the process of head injury and analysis of two main branches -...
The position of company Nokia on the world cell phones market
Fanta, Ondřej ; Gullová, Soňa (advisor) ; Drozen, František (referee)
The Bachelor's thesis aims at the position of company Nokia on the world cell phones market. The first chapter describes development of the telephone networks and the cell phones, the most important present producers, operating systems and the overview of the cell phones sales in the last 20 years. The second chapter is completely focused on company Nokia, its entering the cell phones market, development of the position on it and on the circumstances of downfall after the year 2010. The last chapter is devoted to the comeback of the Finnish brand on the market.

Biomechanical response to impact load of cranium
Fanta, Ondřej ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Tlapáková, Eva (referee)
Biomechanical response to the impact cranio burden is especially closely related topic the biomechanics of head injuries on impact, often in a car accident. Acquired knowledge can be applied in all activities in which there is a head on collision obstacle. Mechanisms responsible accidents in sports, such as falls cycling, lyžích or due to the nature of sport itself, eg. boxing, rugby, ice hockey, etc. The study has to outline a comprehensive overview and sequence of events and biomechanical patterns, which occurs when the head impact into obstacles. The main challenge will be to physically and biomechanically describe the sequence of injuries on impact and maximize the přiblížit to real injury that created obstacles to the head impact (windshield, dashboard, steering wheel, airbag, roadway, rival, fist, rail, ...). An essential part of understanding the basic knowledge anatomy of the head and Traumatology, certain specifics of injuries in traffic accidents and in frontal collision and biomechanical evaluation of head injuries. We will experiment impinging load and after analyzing the physical and biomechanical data will be recorded values, especially the value of HIC ("Head Injury Criterion") correlated with AIS ("Abbreviated Injury Scaled ') table and compared with the correlations from the literature. The...
