Since 4 years ago I moved to Prague and study photography there, I've been thrown into a gap betweem what we called "photography" (or Photographie, Fotografie) in europe and how it calls in my native language. In this gap, I got chance to study what does "photography" mean, and in the meanwhile, the meaning of names of photography in Sinosphere language become visible as well since I was being out of my native language. In one hand all the names bring completely differant meaning of "what is photography" to me and confused me a lot. But in the other hand, when I started to research the original force of naming the photography, a quesion came up: are the names actually conected deeply with each other in side of language, or namely: are they telling us one same essence of photography?
