Zemanová, Denisa ; Pavelka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Breňová, Lubomíra (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the development of the gross domestic product (GDP) of the Czech Republic from 2005 to 2015 using the expenditure method. This analysis will examine the growth rate of the GDP and its individual components. It will also measure how the individual components of the GDP affect its growth or decline. Moreover, this analysis will also examine the components that were most affected by the GDP decline in 2009 when the Czech Republic was affected by the economic crisis. The final aim of this thesis is to determine whether the development of gross fixed capital formation behaves pro-cyclically to GDP development. The calculations will use data obtained from the Czech statistical office which will be expressed in constant prices.
