EU candidate countries - evaluation of the preparation for Accession Process

The thesis describes the process of enlargement of EU, with emphasis on circumstances, which influences the enlargement process, with current candidate countries (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey) and the new member state Croatia as example. The thesis is divided into three chapters; first chapter presents basic information about phases of the process. Second chapter deals with previous enlargements of European Community, or EU. Third chapter analyzes current candidate states, presents their political and economical characteristics and current stage of the process. A part of the third chapter predicts future development and possible date of the entry of each candidate state.

The bachelor thesis deals with various types of packaging used in the food industry. The most commonly used materials for packaging include wood, paper, glass, metal, textiles and plastics. The main function of package include handling, safety, information, trade and ecological. Further work is aimed at foreign substances that may be located in food. Most of them are esters of phthalic acid, formaldehyde, and bisphenol A. These may be present in food in only small amounts. I also work to integrate the issue of food labeling. The primary source of information for consumers on the packaging of the data. Accordingly, the consumer chooses food choice from a wide range of products. Legislation establishes labeling requirements, focusing on the food packaged, unpackaged and wrapped.
Analysis of the situation of preparedness of the CR adopting the single European currency and compare the advantages and disadvantages of such a step

This bachelor's thesis primarily deals with the analysis of the preparedness of the Czech Republic to adopt the single European currency called euro and the state of nominal and real criteria. Its aim is also to confirm or refute the concerns of this step and explain advantages and disadvantages of possible CR's membership in the eurozone. The thesis consists of seven chapters, which describe not only the euro link to the Czech economy, but also other aspects of the euro both in terms of historical evolution of this currency and the present problems and also experience of the Slovak Republic.
