Abstract Bachelor thesis discusses the theme of safety in specialized training in flowers binding and plants arranging at secondary vocational schools. In the theoretical part there are elaborated the basic concepts of health and safety at work, described the legal standards of the Czech Republic concerning the safety and protection of health at work, defined the responsibilities of schools, school management, pupils and pupils ' legal representatives in this area. Another focus is to describe the principles of safety work in vocational training in the workplace to identify potential risks and their prevention. The methods used for processing of the theoretical part will be study of the litera-ture, study of legal standards with a focus on safety at work, making notes, their analysis, comparison and synthesis. The main aim of the practical part of the thesis is to create educational material - the preparation for teaching with the methodology for teachers, supplemented by the worksheets for teaching the topic of binding and arranging plants. This training material is inserted into the annexes of this Bachelor thesis and is designed for students of the 2.years of education a Gardener. For the fulfillment of the focus will be used the method of the content analysis for educational and legislative documents. The benefits of the work will be based on creating basic worksheets for teaching about work safety in vocational training for binding and arranging plants, which should contribute to the reduction of the number of pupils injuries and injury prevention.
