Multiple Prefixation in Czech, Russian and Bulgarian

TITLE: Prefix stacking in Czech, Russian and Bulgarian SUMMARY: This bachelor's work is uncovering lexical-semantic meanings of Czech, Russian and Bulgarian verbal prefixes and their connection with multiplied prefixing. First half of the work is reviewing general word-formative and lexical-semantic meanings in verbal prefixes. Within the frame of morphological aspect this study describes function of prefixes from the view of two antitheses completive × imperfective. The second half of this work is studying a problem of multiplied prefixes from the view of semantic verbal prefixes and judges which prefixes are with connotation of multilingual prefixes and which one are not. The last part of my study is analysing productivity of verbal prefix po- in Czech, Russian and Bulgarian language.
