Analysis of thermal processes inside of lead acid battery cell in oxygen cycle regime
Vondrák, Michal ; Bača, Petr (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of thermal processes in lead accumulators with oxygen cycle. The work is explaining the structure and principle of operation of the standard lead-acid battery and lead-acid battery with oxygen cycle. Generally are described thermal action inside a lead battery with oxygen cycle and the different types of heat generated during operation of the battery are discussed in detail. One chapter describes the practical experiments and their results.
Theoretical modes of electric arc
Vondrák, Michal ; Šenk, Josef (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical models of the electric arc. Plasma arc and plasma torch are explained. Basic approaches of electric arc modeling are described. The indirect method for the determination of the mean temperature and velocity at the exit of plazma jet plasmatron are discussed. Finally the simplified model with axially-cooled electric arc is described.
Voltage tests under wet condition
Vondrák, Michal ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
The main objective of presented thesis is to design a shower system in order to extend voltage tests by voltage wet testing. The introduction focuses on important aspects related to voltage wet testing. Such aspects originates mainly from Czech but also foreign standards. Following part of the thesis deals with specific wet testing design proposals, which fulfil the standards requirements. The final part of presented thesis is focused on partial experiments. Namely the analysis of rain water properties, behavior of rain drops exiting the nozzle with varying flow and nozzle angle, wet test on insulator in dry and wet conditions.
