Historical map of the Battle of Štěrboholy

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to conduct a content analysis of old maps of the Battle of Štěrboholy. Based on the information gained from the analyzed maps, a historical map of this conflict will be created. The old maps of the battle used in this thesis are located in the Map Collection of the Faculty of Science, Charles University. In the first part of the thesis, the battle is introduced in historical context. This is followed by a discussion of issues related to content analysis of old battle maps. The analysis of two old maps follows. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to creating a historical map based on the old maps. The result is a detailed map of the battle, which aims to provide the reader with the most accurate depiction of the conflict.
