Substantive nominalizations -ní/-tí in Czech, Slovak, and Russian

This final thesis deals with verbal substantives of form -ní/-tí in Czech, Slovak, and Russian. It focuses on syntactical behaviour of nominal group based on verbal substantive of this kind. This structure with semantic predicate of verbal substantive form is treated as a result of substantive nominalization process, subject of which is sentence structure based on the verbum finitum predicate. Within the syntax of the nominalized predicate, its valency in the first place, it concerns the formation of the mentioned kind of deverbatives and their morphological character as well.The language material on which the thesis is based, comes from corpora SYN2005 (Czech National Corpus), Prim-3.0 (Slovak National Corpus), and Osnovnoj korpus (Russian National Corpus).
