131 8. Résumé Protection against Corruption and Bribery and their prevention This work is concerned with problems of Corruption. Introduction contains problem definition and the following demarcation of the term Corruption and bribery and their existence in a society. Furthermore, the work contains some important contracts of an Public International Law in the field of Corruption as well as a brief excursion of an Internal juridical modification of corrupt practices in Czechoslovakia. The main Purpose of this work is, firstly, the evaluation of an actual state in the field of Corruption. Secondly, it is the analysis of valid juridical modification in Criminal Law Number 40/2009 of Collection of Laws with reference to development in modification before Effect of this law, mainly according to law 140/1961 of Collection of Laws and mainly according to its novel number 122/2008 of Collection of Laws. This work also suggests possibilities of fight against Corruption in the Czech Republic from both aspects - aspects of protection and prevention, further it is studying the state of this criminal activity in the Czech Republic and other questions related to this phenomenon.
