An Attempt to Depict Contemporary Status of the Puppet Theatre in England, France and Slovenia

The diploma thesis An Attept to Depict Contemporary Status of the Puppet Theatre in England, France and Slovenia with the subtitle Subjective View Based on My Own Experience is trying to describe the actual happening in chosen countries by confronting my own experience with the information from studied materials. The thesis is divided into three parts according to the site of action and research. The beginning of each part describes my personal experience. Following general part surveys theatre groups, shows, associations, magazines, schools and education, statute puppet theatres and festivals.
In the first chapter about England, where I did my study intership, I got precious information from the interviews with artists. In the part about France I describe my work intership and I briefly outline the vivid happening on the field of the puppet theatre. In the last part about Slovenia I write about the unique opportunity our collective got at the Puppet Theatre Maribor.
