Physiotherapy procedures for early loading of the joint after total hip replacement

Bachelor thesis is focused on physiotherapeutic procedures in the early loading of the hip joint after total replacement. Thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part describes anatomy of the hip joint, types of total replacement, indication for surgery, contraindications and possible complications. Theoretical part mentions also rehabilitation after total hip joint replacement and other possibilities of physiotherapy. Practical part is focused on case reports of patients who completed the total hip joint replacement surgery. The patient completed an in-house kinesiological analysis, a questionnaire, an exercise unit training and an outpatient kinesiological analysis. The aim of the thesis was the mapping of the possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with THR during early loading. Another goal of the thesis was a designing and creating an exercise unit for auto-therapy in THR patients. The research questions related to the possibility of physiotherapy in THR patients, as well as the impact of an individually designed exercise unit on the patient's health status. The result of the study also reflects the accuracy and frequency of exercises. The thesis summarizes the possibilities of physiotherapy after THR, design of therapy and exercise unit. The thesis can be used in the practice of physiotherapists or also as educational material for students and patients.
