Development of New Syntheses of Azaaromatic Compounds with Extended π-System
Ulč, Jan ; Kotora, Martin (advisor) ; Hrdina, Radim (referee) ; Tobrman, Tomáš (referee)
Azapolyaromatic compound are a class of heterocyclic compounds, which contains at least one nitrogen atom. A subclass of these compounds are quinolizinium salts, which contains nitrogen atom in bridgehead position. These salts usually have interesting photophysical properties. Naphthoquinolizinium salts are a group of quinolizinium salts, but their synthesis as well as their photophysical properties haven't been studied in detail yet. This work is about development of a new modular method for preparation of naphthoquinoliziniu salts. This method is based on catalytic C-C and C-H bond activations by transition metal catalysts. 1-Azabiphenylene was used as a starting material, which reacted in catalytic C-C bond cleavage followed by insertion of various alkyne to form benzo[h]quinolines. These benzo[h]quinolines then reacted in catalytic C-H bond activation reaction followed by insertion of another alkyne to form final tetrasubstituted naphthoquinolizinium salts. Photophysical properties of the prepared salts was studied. The developed method was used on a more complex starting material such as linear 1- 1-aza-[3]triphenylene, which was converted to phenanthroquinolines and eventually to the corresponding azonia salts. Key words: azapolyaromatic compounds, catalysis by transition metal complexes, C-C...
Analysis of the set in chosen volleyball matches in Champion League 2009/2010
Ulč, Jan ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vorálek, Rostislav (referee)
In this work we have tried to make analysis of specialized activity of setter's sets. Our research observed five setters from the best european club competitions- Michal Sládeček, Raphael Vieira de Oliveiro, Lukasz Zygadl, Sergey Grankyn and Simon Fischer. The analysis of their game performance in six Champion League matches 2009/2010 was focused on quality of the set, its frequency into particular directions and kind of the set from two different qualities of reception. We also concentrated on laying-out of sets and their qualities until the first sequence. For gathering objective information we used a method of indirect observation. We also had video recordings of all six chosen Champion League matches 2009/2010.Conclusions and results of the thesis could be used during the training process, mainly to improve game activities of an individual. In concrete terms we focused on the position of a setter who works as a prolonged hand of a trainer and is influenced by his commands from the point of view of tactics. This work could refer to the right and tactical laying-out of sets in matches and importance of quality of the set. Creating the metodology for recording and evaluation of the set which is dependent on the previous reception helped us evaluate the individual game performance of the setters in their...
Synthesis of new organocatalysts based on bipyridines
Ulč, Jan ; Kotora, Martin (advisor) ; Veselý, Jan (referee)
1,1'-Bis(tetrahydroisoquinoline)-N,N'-dioxides represent a class of strong Lewis bases, which are used in organocatalysis for allylation of aldehydes. In this master thesis new chiral unsymmetrically substituted 1,1'- bis(tetrahydroisoquinoline)-N,N'-dioxides were prepared by a simple three-step synthesis (scheme 1). The first step of this approach was cyclotrimerization of octa-1,7-diyne with nitriles providing tetrahydroisoquinolines, which were oxidized to corresponding N-oxides. In final step two different N-oxides were subjected to oxidative coupling reaction, which produced unsymmetrically 3,3'-disubstituted 1,1'-bis(tetrahydroisoquinoline)-N,N'-dioxides. The main advantages of this method are short reaction times and easy availability of the starting materials. Scheme 1 The catalytic activity and asymmetric induction of these new N,N'-dioxides were explored in allylation of aldehydes by allyltrichlorosilane in different solvents. Key words: organocatalysis, allylation, N,N'-dioxide, cyclotrimerization

The kontrol of Volleyball Team Training Process
ULČ, Jan
The aim of this bachelor diploma thesis is to find out differences in selected motorical capabilities and physical fitness of volleyball players. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a research part. The former part analyses characteristics of volleyball and factors of players' game performance, lists required motorical and physical capabilities and describes methods of testing and measuring. The latter part contains measured results of a testified sample that consists of volleyball players of Vavex Příbram and Jihostroj České Budějovice, which have been two of the Czech highest volleyball league teams for many years. All the measured results are compared, analysed and displayed in graphs. Considering much better volleyball achievements of the Jihostroj players, I expect to find out their significantly much higher level of motorical and physical capabilities. Using various tests, measurements and statistical methods helps us to verify or refute this presupposition. All the findings can be interesting also for coaches of both the teams who can learn more about physical condition of their players.
