Static analysis of the roof structure
Uherek, Jan ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the static analysis of the wooden roof structure – truss. In SCIA Engineer 17.1, which works on the finite element method, were created spatial and planar design models, and were compared them with each other. From the program were used informations about the internal forces in the struts, their deformations and after that their assessments were carried out.
Feed Pump Condesing Steam Turbine
Uherek, Jan ; Kubiš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on designing impulse stage steam turbine to be used as the feed pump drive. I consecutively carried out thermodynamic calculation, seals and bearings layouts, with the aim to determine the steam mass flow through the turbine. Furthermore, I conducted turbine blade toughness check-ups, determined the rotor critical rotational speed, check-up rotor critical place (bearing pin) for torsion, and created a clutch screws design. The final part of this thesis pursues the other operating states of the turbine. This thesis is amended by a mechanical drawing of the turbine transection.
Static and dynamic analysis of steel structure
Uherek, Jan ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with a description and a static and dynamic analysis for an existing construction of lookout tower. The steel watchtower is located in Město Albrechtice and is made up of two lattice towers connected by a bridge. Main point was to create calculation models for the purpose of dynamic and static analysis, in the software SCIA Engineer 19.1, which is based on the principle of finite element method. Attention was paid to load created by winds according to Eurocode 1 and Eurocode 3, glaze and rime ice load and dynamic coefficient calculation. The thesis also includes an assesment of selected parts of the construction according to Eurocodes.
Super-heated steam cycles
Uherek, Jan ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor´s thesis is to present new, highly efficient thermal cycles used in power plants, and to compare them with classical cycles. First, the impact of these cycles on the efficiency of electricity production is examined. The following section describes power plants where the supercritical technology has been successfully installed. The last section explains the calculation of the heat transfer surface. The conclusion of this thesis attempts to outline the future of energetics from the author´s point of view.
