Spectrum Analyser N1996A-503 and Measurement Uncertainty
Trojan, Martin ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The main target of this master’s thesis is to introduce the reader with the spectrum analyzer, Agilent N1996A CSA. This work explains all the functions of this measuring instrument, control elements and presents some technical parameters. The next part of this thesis deals with the measurement of coaxial cables, so that is why a whole chapter is devoted to coaxial cables and conductors in general. The rest of this thesis deals with issues of measurement uncertainties. This part contains the general procedure for the evaluation of uncertainty, followed by a practical part. The practical part contains measurement of distance to fault and return loss. Measurements were made on 4 samples of coaxial cable. At the end of the practical parts the measured values including the uncertainties and results are summarized in the final paragraph.
Viscosimetry of hyaluronan-amphiphile systems
Trojan, Martin ; Běťák, Jiří (referee) ; Chytil, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates the interaction between the polysaccharide sodium hyaluronate (HA) and some amphiphilic molecules. As amphiphilic molecules the aminoacids lysine and 6 – aminocaproic acids were chosen. The presence of the carboxylic group on HA and the aminogroup on the aminoacids suggests electrostatic interaction between these two compounds. This supposal offers the possibility to modificate HA and uses it as a new type of a carrier of bioactive compounds, for example medicals. The HA of two molecular weights (1.75MDa and 70kDa) were chosen for the study of the interactions with the aminoacids. Solutions of HA and stock solutions of the aminoacids were prepared for their mutual mixing in the various volume ratios. The solutions and the mixtures were measured in three types of environment: pure water, 0.15M solution of NaCl and in phosphate buffer (PBS) of pH 6. The interactions were investigated by means of reometry. Our results show, the presence of interactions between HA and the aminoacids mainly in the system consisting the 1.75 MDa HA and lysine in water. As a result of the interactions, a decrease in the viscosity of the mixtures comparing to the HA solutions was observed.
Optimized Ray Tracing
Trojan, Martin ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with optimization methods for ray tracing. There are discussed several methods of acceleration structures and method for reducing the complexity of calculating intersection with complex objects. Part of the text also deals with the ray tracing method and the concepts associated with this technique. For the purposes of this thesis have been created application, which is implemented ray tracing algorithm using a uniform grid for optimization.
Standard Uncertainty in Measurement
Trojan, Martin ; Zavřel, Jiří (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This bacelor´s thesis is about uncertainty of measurement. Methods for evalution of standard uncernatainty types A and B are determined. Also methods for evalution of expression of combined and expanded uncertainty are determined. Next methods for expresion and influence of source of these uncertainties. In the end are all the mesurements reviewed and its kompatibility is compared with referential measure. Also all calibration diagram are compiled. This thesis is based on practical measurement. I tis about measurement of capacitance and resistance, methods for evalution of these measurement are determined. All calculation were provided with real values. All values originate from real measurement in school´s lab E607 DCI FEEC BUT.. All results were compared in the end.
Automatic switch range for AC-DC etalon Fluke 792A
Trojan, Martin ; Šíra,, Martin (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The main topic of this Master's Thesis is design and implementation of mechanical connection between the automatic range switch unit and the AC-DC Transfer Standart Fluke 792A. This Master's Thesis contains theoretical analysis of the the AC-DC Transfer Standart Fluke 792A and of stepper motors. Followed the choosing of appropriate drive. In next chapter is the theoretical analysis of automatic range switch unit, used microcontroller and the description of the GPIB. Last part of this Master's Thesis describes design of mechanical connecting part and the selection of appropriate sensors for sensing the current position of the shading component.
New methods of protonated aminoacids preparation and their interactions with polyelectrolytes
Trojan, Martin ; Sedlařík,, Vladimír (referee) ; Chytil, Martin (advisor)
This Master thesis investigates the interaction between the polysaccharide sodium hyaluronate (HA) and some amphiphilic molecules. It is known that the presence of the carboxylic group on HA and the aminogroup on the amphiphiles leads to electrostatic interaction between these two compounds. This supposal offers the possibility to physically modify HA and use it as a new type of a carrier of bioactive compounds, for example medicals. However, successful carrier of bioactive compound has to resist a certain value of ionic strength. The high-molecular weights HA (1.75MDa) and amphiphile lysine were chosen for the study of the influence of ionic strength on the system HA – amphiphile. Our results show that system HA – amphiphile system is suppressed even by low concentrate solution of electrolyte. Therefore the system was reinforced by protonation of the aminoacid. The results show, that the interactions were reinforced, nevertheless negative influence of chlorine anions had to be eliminated by lyophilization. The solutions with strengthened system HA – amphiphile were used for the research of ionic strength influence. The amphiphiles lysine, 6 - aminocaproic acid and arginine were selected for this study. The interactions were investigated by means of reometry and conductometry.
