Yi Kwangsu in theory and praxis: "What is literature" and "The Heartless"

Subject of this thesis is groundbreaking essay "What is literature?" written in 1916 by korean author Yi Kwangsu. In the essay he describes korean literature and how much it is influenced by Chinese culture tradition dominating in Korea. The author is in a strict opposition and rejects everything "old". He shows timeless thoughts and importance of culturul detachment from China thanks to which Korea will be able to flourish and develope in a positive way. Also emphasizes writer's experiences, earnest of literature a primaly emotions he consideres to be the most important for literature. To which point Yi Kwangsu managed to convert theory to practise will be examinated on his novel The Heartless (Mujŏng) he wrote not se later after mentioned essay.

Chaebols within International Political Context- Business Relations with People's Republic of China

The aim of this thesis is introduce South Korean conglomerates, also known as chaebŏls, and the way they are working in the context of international relations with a specific focus on People's Republic of China. The thesis is dedicated to the origin of chaebŏls within historical and political background and their gradual expansion on national and international level. The key part further represents actions of chaebŏl called Lotte Group in People's Republic of China and analyzes the case which occured in 2017 due to the installation of American anti-ballistic missile defense system THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area defense) at South Korean's territory.
