The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the intensity of international trade in relation to the quality of the legal environment. The reference period is defined for 2000-2017. The basic indicator of the institutional environment is the concept of Governance matters, which is published by the World Bank, in which the individual indicators of the institutional environment are evaluated, and on the basis of which a comprehensive indicator of institutional quality in individual EU countries is compiled. The empirical analysis uses the results of the institutional environment together with economic indicators and individual models are created through panel data. For institutional variables, government performance and the level of democracy has been confirmed by the relationship with the openness of the economy.

Strategic analysis of selected company and suggestions for strategy

The thesis analyses the selected company on the domestic and foreign markets. The suggestions for strategy improvements are formulated based on the analyses. The thesis is divided into four chapters. First, the company and its strategic management is introduced. Then analysis of external and internal environment of the company follows. Based on the analysis the suggestions for strategy are formulated.

The thesis "ECOWAS in the world economy focused on European Union" aims at the position of ECOWAS in the world economy. The first chapter deals with the characteristic of the region of West Africa,the establishment and development of the community. The second chapter focuses on macroeconomic characteristic of ECOWAS and its foreign trade. Third chapter describes the relations with the EU as one of the most important partner.
