Narrow Price Parity Clauses in the Context of EU Competition Law Abstract This paper deals with the issue of narrow price parity clauses. Narrow price parity clauses are contractual arrangements that online booking platforms, such as Booking, oblige hotels not to offer accommodation at lower prices through their websites than through the booking platform. As the clause restricts hotels' freedom to price their services freely, national competition authorities across the EU have started to look into the clauses. The competition authorities of the Member States have investigated whether narrow price parity clauses constitute a restriction of competition within the meaning of Article 101(1) TFEU. Although the protection of competition falls within the exclusive competence of the EU and the framework of competition regulation is therefore almost identical in all Member States, Member States' approaches to compatibility of narrow price parity clauses with the competition law differ. The first objective of this paper was thus to categorise the different approaches of the competition authorities regarding narrow price parity clauses. The payroll accounting in the Czech republic and Slovakia

The bachelor thesis deals with differences in payroll accounting in the Czech and Slovak republic. Introductory part defines individual legislative terms in labor relations, types of working relations and ways of renumerating employees. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the issue of taxation of income of naturals persons from employment activity, construction of tax and calculation of the tax advance. In addition, it analyzes the current form of legislation on social security and public health insurance. Last but not least, the thesis deals with an example of a particular process of charging wages, taxes and social insurance. The final section shows the practical procedure for calculating net wage, costs per employee and comparison of system benefits in both countries

Soft Science Fiction from the narratological point of view

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with literature subgenre soft science fiction. For a start, it presents definitions of science fiction and soft science fiction. Furthermore, it lists and defines the concepts of hard science fiction, as the opposition to soft science fiction, and utopia and dystopia as a genre linked with soft science fiction. In addition, the work also presents Lubomír Doležel´s terminology of the fictional worlds´ macrostructure and Tomáš Kubíček´s terminology dedicated to the structural analysis of texts. As a result, in the practical part of the bachelor thesis includes soft science fictional texts analysis based on their terminologies.
